    or ~snip~
Adamantine stone of change can put +5 Hardness and up to +30 Durability on any level item without affecting the min level or using a valuable augment slot.

    Adamantine Ritual I - +5 Hardness and +10 Durability.
Adamantine Ritual II An additional +5 Durability.
Adamantine Ritual III An additional +5 Durability.
Adamantine Ritual IV An additional +5 Durability.
Adamantine Ritual V(Max) An additional +5 Durability.

Diamond of Reinforcement II: ML 7. Item Hardness increased by 10. Durability +20.
Diamond of Reinforcement III: ML14. Item Hardness increased by 15. Durability +30.
Diamond of Reinforcement IV: ML21. Item Hardness increased by 20: Durability +40.
Diamond of Reinforcement V: ML28. Item Hardness increased by 25. Durability +50.

A pretty simple idea. It should be fairly easy to implement.

so my point was if they are going to consider durability stones, they need to be better than the no min level adamantine ritual upgrade and definitely not as high level required

a crafting ritual improvement.. would be preferable...
or even encompass improvements to metalline augments.. such as higher level augments of silver/holy/adamantine/cold iron/..etc.. that add hardness & durability.

Or someone could do both? Why one or the other? They would stack.

Would they?.. that would be dependant on Dev coding.. its all just suggestion and speculation for the augments..

Well yeah, if you have spare Action points to spend.

I'm on board in favor of this suggestion... and would even double the durability enhancements. Admittedly, I like my augments for offensive purposes, but as a for instance, when running Lord of Blades: my usual practice is to fight my way to the quest start, then exit, repair, re-enter, and then hope my best weapon will still be useful by the time we're done.

Well... if you're planning on making a build where you know the gear will suffer... then planning for the AP spend is part of your "hard choices". If you can just augment your woes away...

Yes you can, either on casual or maybe normal. It's been a while so I forget the difficulty required, but that's where I usually go to get mine.
