Throw out everything you remember from the game and start as if your brand new. Pretty much everything has changed.

PS....don't give up in Korthos....give this game a good solid chance. It's still fun.

There is indeed, though I think many of us have gone to chatting in guild and "alliance" channels. I try to remember to post lfms when I'm running things, but I often just space it out. I do post to my guild's alliance channels though. Lava Divers, Gypsys, and others have channels many of our members monitor and post to, so there's always something to jump into. My advice would be to befriend a member of a large guild and earn an invite to their channel, or try to earn entry into a larger/more active guild (larger does not in itself guarantee more activity). If you see one of my LFMs up in your level range, feel free to hit it up and I'll be happy to chat about current game mechanics/gear/quests.
