Gingerspyce's Week in Videos: Update 28 First Look, Ghola-Fan and a new series!

Wow I can't believe that I forgot to mention in my last update that the channel has reached 100,000 lifetime views! That is just too cool. When I made the channel a little over a year ago, I never thought that so many would stop by, subscribe and find the videos as helpful and fun as I've heard from so many of the viewers!

Update 28 First Look

I had a laugh out loud good time running through u28 quests for the first time. I enjoyed these quests more than other recent updates. The loot is decent and I think the 6-piece set is awesome for new players looking to gear up quickly with a nice set bonus.

Solo EE Grim and Barett - I got on as soon as the servers came up and none of my guildies were on yet, so I decided to take on this one solo. I hadn't done any of these before, so this video captures my first experience.

EE Multitude of Menace - Some of my guildies were on by the time I got to this one, so the High Lords of Malkier take on this one together! I really liked the duplicating boss and it was fun figuring things out for the first time.

EE Subversion - This was my favorite one of the bunch. I loved the museum of artifacts, which was a nice tribute to a bunch of old DDO quests. The giant d20 made me laugh when I saw it. The slaads were beautiful and as a frog lover, I couldn't help but notice how much the green slaad looked like a Pac Man frog and the red slaads looked like Suriname Toads.

EE Tavern Brawl - This is a quickie, with a great piece of loot with a great name: "Ship Kickers!" It makes me laugh every time the boss says "Have some of this!!" I imagine in my head that he's a waiter saying "Have the wine!" ..."Try the fish!!" ... "How 'bout dessert!?" Good times

Bring Me the Head of Ghola-Fan!

Gingerspyce is back as a pure druid! One of my channel goals is to have a video for every quest in the game. I doubt I'll ever achieve that but it's good to have a goal. With over 200 videos, I'm finding myself having to do more and more videos of quests that are off the beaten path. I had actually only done this one probably about a dozen times! Restless Isles is not a popular pack, but it has some choice pieces of loot in the 2 quests and raid. Maybe it's time to take another look so check out Solo Elite Bring Me the Head of Ghola-Fan!


Introducing Voodu Warlock!

I made this teaser for my newest series "Voodu Warlock: A Pure Warlock Enlightened Spirit Tank Project". In Gingerlocks I worked through every warlock pact and enhancement tree and in this series I take what I learned from that experience and apply it to Voodu. For years she was a sorc and my main but she got shelved once I fell in love with Druid. It has been a lot of fun to dust her off and play her again in a new way!
