Per hit, same with the sonic damage from the defiler necklace.

The ring has something like a 1 s cool down like stormrage. This was to prevent multi procs on things like magic missile. Side effect is that it won't process on every blast, so it's not as good as you think. Still very much worth using though.

I have not played a Warlock but you get off a blast every 1.5 seconds (or close to that). When I played a Wizard I only get one per Magic Missile spell, so I am probably using the term blast incorrectly.

But the once per aura burst is VERY intriguing.
