Thelanis is like that. One stretch there are no LFMs up even though you see a bunch of people running around...the next you have them up for everything you wanted to do. I been soloing a lot because I been working on a build that is pretty much gimp 3/4s of Heroic before it starts to shine. A lot of players build like that as you start seeing a drought of LFMS roughly 8-11 level...and really don't start taking off until Vale. I compensate by doing 3 or 4 levels higher on normal to make up for the bump.

Now if there were players that wanted to run 3 or 4 levels higher on normal quests on Hard...I will start putting LFMs up. I tried getting a 5th level Gwylan's Stand Elite going not long ago and nobody wanted to bite. My fellow Pugger and I did rather well actually...except neither of us could do traps.

I actually enjoyed the challenge until we got to the point of no return with the stairway of death. I was trying to figure out a pattern in order to just run up it...without much luck.

More fun loving weirdos here than anywhere I imagine. Of course you have a few snobs and screeching brats that you come across now and then...but they tend to be more or less like visitors trying to earn some favor most the time.

Off-topic at this point, but since you made the remark...

The way I dealt with it on my recent nontrapping life was to CC the patrolling guards. If they don't hit the trap-trigger box, you can run up/down the stairs/path all you like and the traps will never trigger. Invis is sufficient to get close enough to land a Web, Sonic Burst, Trip, Sap, whatever.

I also played a bit with timing the trap bursts, and it's possible to run through. Video may not match the relative frequencies at the start of the trigger... I died a bunch testing out patterns and sequential traps don't seem to have a constant frequency when they are active. The idea is to find a pattern to get you safely to the second force burst while it's off, then run through the third and fourth when they're both off. Remember the visual doesn't exactly match with the danger; there is a split second the visual is on the screen but running through it will have no effect.

It could be because people are rediscovering old quests/raids.

Or it could simply be someone attempting to get 5K favor.

No matter the reason, people should jump on if they want a chance to run the raid. Even so much as putting up their own LFM. Interest has been peeked. Benefit from it.
