    Default Wrathful Wraith (17 Wizard/3 Barbarian)

    Adventures in Theory crafting, Okay builders this is a 1-20 build that you could probably stack magister onto to have some fun if you want to.

    I wanted to focus on using a couple of strange combos together to keep up the health on a Pale master so that it could go into melee along with it's skeleton and other summons/charms keeping them up while doing decent damage himself and for the most part tanking through the danger. This build still needs to be a powerful caster and indeed needed to be able to hit as well. I went with SWF to allow Orbs to be used and I used Augment summons to pair with Harper tree in order to be able to churn out summons that are good enough to keep up with the group. I ended up going to Barbarian for the temporary hp abilities and healing amps. I almost went FB figuring hit point using abilities mean nothing to a Death Aura PM build. Instead I went for OS bond of retribution / Kinetic Bond / Guarding Bond and Ravagers ON HIT (I Like Pain) 150 temporary hitpoints. These add some serious survivability. For defense I am relying on Wraith and Improved Shrouding for 35% incorporeal and Displacement giving me 50% miss chance along with some dodge here and some EK armor, shield, and arcane barrier action. There to make me fairly hard to hit and hurt. I maxed out the skele pet and with harper bonuses on top he can stand up as well as most fighters he just doesn't tank well so diplomacy is good. This build needs threat reduction items big time.

    For damage this guy get's say a rapier and adds int to damage, Pain Touch 1d6, Kinetic 1d20 /4 sec, 1x crits from bond of retribution, 1d6 spellbade, Eldritch strike and ISWF with a high enough BAB to work in GSWF at 21.

    For to hit it has Int to hit through Harpers and Full BAB from Tensers (when needed).

    For AC you're using medium armor/heavy armor with arcane spell failure reductions.

    All around that means before Items you should be able to stab most stabbingly and dodge most dodgingly. The build does lack evasion but heals well and can have high HP.

    Drow might be a better race for this.
