How fun! Have been on the forums for about a year and have never seen this before. Looking forward to participating!
By the way, I'd love to post some of my own pictures too, but I don't know how. Would be greatfull if someone could tell me how to!
Sincerely, Zorrbeania
i upload my pic to https://imgbb.com/
then after uploading, right click the image and 'open image in new tab'
copy the .jpg link.
Then to paste it here, click the "Insert image" icon. Does it show on the bar in the same row as Bold, Italic, Underline icons?
Maybe there is a faster way, but this is how I do it.
Did you get behind the map in the south?
Cheers,
Titus.

I can't be the only person not seeing a pic.
Edit: I tried using a different browser (Firefox), and was able to see it this time. I cannot see it using Chrome or Opera, it must be blocking due to a security setting and it doesn't like the site you posted your pic on. (Ikkie . org)

The pic in question is http not https, so a browser with strict https only enforced would not load it. Unfortunately, most browsers not even show that something wasn't loaded, leaving an absence unnoticed.
Now I understand this (very small) reply ...
FireFox: Picture
Internet Explorer: Picture
Edge: No Picture
Chrome: don't have
Opera: don't have
Every page on my site (ikkie . org) is just plain "http", instead of httpS. Just a simple site, which only gives information.
The problem here is, I don't want to pay hundreds of euros for security certificats to cover all information.
And yes, I know there are lots of free upload sites ... but I also don't want making a lots of accounts everywhere with a lots of passwords.
I also don't want to loose the ownership of my picture postings.
My thoughts, when I have a lot of "storage"-space on my own site ... why should I use an extern service.
So, another hobby is spoiled by money, big-techs (and their advertise-cookies), crimes, etc ...
Last year, when looking at the source of a http-page (my own pages), FireFox did have some problems with that too. Then I had to choose [Select All] and then use "View Source of Selection". Everything to protect the viewing persons - even hiding problems. But (some updates later) FireFox did correct that.
http-Picture-problems is a new thing for me.

Good point to mention.
I don't meant copyrights on the pictures, but only the ownership of the posting itself.
I don't want to post a picture somewhere (at a (free) server) and they decide to delete the posting, because of something (and mostly too soon).
I want to decide myself, when I delete the thing I uploaded. And that may take a lot longer than some automated timer ...
