You got it! I always find joy in finding weird places to get to, and in my xp farming run noticed an alcove up there, and some ledges.

That's actually the whole picture, zoomed out as much as possible. As you can see, it's a drop down spot. I've been through there lots of times. It's usually a quick drop and on to the mini-boss. This is the only time I got stuck.

Your picture looks like the lightning trapped chest in hidden cavern you have to swim to in The Bounty Hunter.

I've always checked this alcove when I run TH. I some how got the impression there might be a rare encounter up there.

Here's what the top of the shaft looks like. Also zoomed out at much as possible. I took this on my latest trip through that quest. It's the first time I've seen that view, since I always just run over the edge without looking down. The stuck spot is pretty much right below where I'm standing.

That's the place. I presume where I got stuck is referenced in the Update 39 Patch 2 Release Notes:
"Fixed a stuck spot in Return to White Plume Mountain."
