Default Quests in which spiders web you?

Are there any? I can only think of Driders doing this. Need one to eventually make a screenie.

Seems odd that I can recall running into lots of webbed areas with spiders but never getting caught in the sticky strands. Kind of eliminates the whole spider strategy.

    Thanks in advance.

Any quests with black widows. The quickest may be the Tangleroot series, with the black widow at the first intersection. I'm sure Redfang has one pretty close to the start too. The problem is you'll make your save most of the time and not get webbed.

hi Jacynwindwore, I had forgotten about the black widows. thanks. I guess they are the only ones that web?

Seems strange how one can run through massive web-filled rooms and corridors and never get caught in the webs (forgive pun). Seems like a big immersion oversight of the development team--maybe it would create too much lag? I feel like characters should be terrified of web rooms, using every bit of flaming weapons and spells to get through them.

The Spinner of Shadows does both webs and web-line trips. Her DC seems higher, I acually get caught in it occasionally.

The spiders in DDO evolved and found little use for their web glands after they learned to cast lightning bolts and acid rain .

As for an exhaustive answer to your question, it's "ddowiki" as usual. At least Brush Creepers cast web, you can browse the list for complete details. The lowest level ones I found are ice spiders found in Misery's Peak and on Korthos.

It's really not when you consider that old webs lose their adhesive properties. And there's absolutely no reason to think that they are fresh webs.

Surely there must be many quests like this, since freedom of movement was "nerfed to uselessness" simply by losing it's immunity to it.

    Also, all quests with bebiliths:
    - Reclaiming the Rift
    - Battle for Eveningstar
    - Caught in the Web
    - ToEE Part 1 endfight
    - The Archon's Trial

At least bebilith webs are the ones that get me stuck the most.

FoM still protects against magical webs (as in created by a spellcaster casting the spell 'Web'). It just doesn't protect you against natural webs.

The ice spiders in misery's peak will throw webs at you. (a quest without black widows)
The spawns of whisperdoom will cast the spell Web often. (FoM protects)

Thx all. I want to add a feature to the flaming sphere scroll thread. I used it to free hirelings and summons from web traps I had used (yeah, friendly fire fun).

or the Drider Web line, apparently those are not magical even though they shoot around corners and through walls and obsticles to latch onto you if you are not actively shield blocking which somehow protects you from web line..

For those that feel the need for web immunity.. there is a level 9 cloak..The Spawn of Whisperdoom
get the optional Goblet then turn in Silver Goblet to the Ungarz Lieutenant in House Phiarlan

Yup, i know. I was being sarcastic because you often hear people complain that fom has been "nerfed to uselessness", specifically because of the difference you point out here.

If all it did was prevent holds it would be worth slotting to me.
