    Default New quest wishlist

Is there a favorite module from your days, past or present, you think would be perfect if converted to DDO similar to the way ToEE and HHoE have already been done?

I would love to see the original Ravenloft module, narrated by Tracy Hickman (the author, and also the author of the Death Gate Cycle, many Dragonlance books, and lots of others).

Considering the poor job that was done with those, no. If I thought the team could do solid, faithful adaptations, sure there are some.

Not a chance in my opinon they butchered TOEE and it brings nothing to mind of the classic modules and having WW babble about his gaming made a bad mod even worse I doubt if I ever go there again just glad I didnt pay for it

Yes please with Return as well. Deadly traps, powerful constructs, soul devouring undead (oh man make that move you can't be raised until the quest is complete-stuck in the teeth).

I was always a big an of the Slaver series (A1 through A4).

Love to see it - especially when you are dropped into cave without any gear.

I just want the devs to have the resources to do it right. Haunted Halls was done right, to me. ToEE was not fully complete without Hommlet. I certainly hope they fully commitm to the whole of any future module additions they do.

To be fair, Wheaton did great on the DM storytelling comments, I guess it comes with being an actor. He did better than Gygax or Arneson in their modules. However, I agree that the "explorables" where he tells stories about his days gaming that may or may not have happened were completely unnecessary and out of place.

I have yet to find al the "explorables" but I wish they had treated them the same way as the slayer portion (find 5 get some XP). The first time it is fine to hear someone tell stories the fourth time, it gets annoying. Feels more like a re-run.

meh, coasting on gamers fame doesn't make you a great voice actor.

i personally enjoyed Ed Greenwoods commentary. It's optional too.
I assume real voice actors are too expencive.....

Can you imagine Wheaton's ex colleges narating? Patrick Stewart, Micheal Dorn , levar burton,Brent Spinner, etc

    Maybe too star trek?
    Why not these two?

I'm so darn tired of Korthos, give me the Keep on the Borderlands to start in, but make it for a level one who is loaded with gear, past lives, and ship buffs etc. That way people can still bust through heroic levels if they want with Korthos/harbour/etc or have some fun down in the very low levels again...

...I know, its just a dream...
