My wife has decided to start playing DDO with me again (I came back about a month ago), so I decided to dust of my cleric (happened to be lvl 15 and she was making Iconic).
I has been a while since I've played the cleric (but it used to be one of my mains), and wife is playing wolf druid, which is new to her but we cannot even duo many heroic hard quests (we get to the boss, die 4-5 times, and then she logs off for the day). I have solo'd several characters through these same quests on hard and elite. I recognize that I am probably going to be carrying wife (because she is not an avid gamer), and I am starting to think that cleric is not the class to do that with.
I have a drow with +2 tomes to every stat except Int. I have 2 raider reward boxes on that character, so I was thinking a twf build with (eventually) two Celestis. I was going to do this with my cleric (a variation of Axel's 2HF Cleric Build), but I don't think I have the gear to make it work at this point (or I am just playing it really wrong). In addition to being Drow, and having the +2 to almost every stat, I also have a +20 respec, but I already have fighter and cleric classes. Is there a better build for what I am trying to do than the Cleric, that works with what I have? I don't expect to be able to solo EE, but I think being able to finish HH is kind of lame (maybe I was just unlucky enough to be repeatedly picking the worst possible quests for our class combinations).
