Switched to Divine Crusader, seeing good numbers (no mortal fear on TF, but).
Good group of 6 good players.
Was able to keep the Archons alive, which was a serious problem when we only had 4 players.
Failure due to allowing 15 Red names to exist (must kill red names as quickly as possible.
We did last quite awhile the last time.
Forget how many deaths, not many, maybe one.
Right before failure we ran around with none, then it went to 5, we rushed over to the new area, then 20 seconds later (or so it seemed) the raid reported failure and kicked up. So, I guess we had 2 more room spawn before we could kill that first room.
Poor Wayfinder, its not going to look good for you atm...
Anyway, seems I was the only one hosting first night that I saw, and complete failures on EN.
Maybe this weekend when we can get 12 online?
MtGO prelease this weekend, so I might be busy.
The changes definitely put a lot more emphasis on larger groups. I was having no luck with a solo EE last night but then a guildie logged in as I was starting my first en attempt and he wound up joining me. With 2 warlocks and a bit of communication and strategy the reinforcement and archon section was very doable. The end fight was crazy though. I think you are going to get a ton of complaints about that. We wound up doing about 15ish more en's just to try and figure out a way to handle the end fight and wound up wiping each one before we decided to call it a night.

I don't like that at all. And I'm not even a DC end gamer. Why not just bring back the old epic ward and have done. I loathe both ideas equally. There should be trash, even if its only to give the DC casters something to do. Though I suppose the way packs large enough to create a challenge also create instant red DA these days I ought to be thankful, because I'd hate that more.
Pleased to hear people aren't face rolling it now though.
On another note, the raid itself was a lot of fun (except for constant failure), and I like that the Raid emphasizes avoiding lag, by using more red/orange named (in place of masses of monsters) and forcing players to keep the number of monsters low.
I feel strongly that # of monsters in a raid is directly tied to raid lag in some manner or another.
Logged in with lfm ~ will try raid on EN if I get 10 players.
Come and join.
Have fun with DC caster guys! Barbarian&shiradi online!
Triple Heroic & Epic completionist. Eroic : 42/42 - Epic : 36/36 - Iconic : 12/12.
Maybe on ee you're right, but as we tried that one yesterday it wasn't such a big deal. When you set up two dediacated groups and one backup unit in the center it should work fine.
At our last learning run we failed in the last instance because of the fire explosion.
while fighting on ground level
#1 and you are in close combat, you don't see the incoming, or you notice it too late. - a spotter might help
#2 and a warlock cast this black tentakular mist, you see nothing at all. - next time leave the warlock dead
#3 the main target is hard to find between all those large rednamed. - a spotter might help
as a spotter on the top of one of those cauldons, or whatever it is, you might direct the group. unfortunately the rate of the bombardment is quite high, so you just can rezz two toons before you have to relocate.
I'd be happy to read about some other approaches
sure, there is at least one ee completion on the live servers now, but no word of the tactics
