Maybe Mom Nature is having a go at me. Few years ago was close enough to feel the pressure drop tho it didn't funnel down. Now was close enough to hear the rush/roar, tho no area damage has been found to confirm any touchdown. One sense at a time. So long as See comes before Taste for the next one.

CD, I've seen a tornado. Up close and personal (well, it was about 5 miles away and moving parallel to the road we were on). NOT something I would recommend.

*hugs* I refuse to imagine this, I already have anxiety in vehicles. Just thinking about my vehicle anxiety is giving me anxiety.

My mom returned to Texas last night. I'm not sure when she'll come by to get all the pet stuff and visit with the kids but I sure wish some sign of Lady had shown up. Over the time Lady's been missing we've received four tips, two deceased animals more or less matching the description on the App but thankfully not her and two not even close... one was even a male dog... like people don't read or something. *sigh*

I saw an article this morning, I thought it said brain aneurysm. No one sees those coming. One of my grandmother's sisters died from one just climbing out of a pool. Family said she climbed up the ladder and started wringing her hair out and that was it. Just collapsed and gone. She was in 30s. My grandmother died of that too. Not instantly though, they got her to the hospital but she was in a coma from bleeding in the brain among other issues. At least she lived a long life. Imahara's not much older than hubby. I really enjoyed the original Mythbusters. I really hope being able to see him on the show gives his loved ones some comfort.

My Father-in-law is in hospital, has been for the last ....dang almost 4 days now. No one panic its not Covid. He has an abscess tooth but someone has to be here with him at hospital 24/7 because he has dementia and gets upset when he doesn't see someone he knows. 'Cause he doesn't remember why he's here or what's going on for longer than it takes to explain it to him. He keeps taking the little heart monitors and whatnot off and its driving the nurses guano-loco. Hubby stayed with him for over 48 hrs but needed a break. The brothers have stayed with him about 12hrs each.

I want to complain but I don't want to complain to anyone here their jobs are tough enough.

But the coffee is awful. The chairs could only be less comfortable with spikes. And I don't know how the heck hubby types on this laptop all the time both the screen and the keyboard seem itty bitty. I need my eyes checked.

Apparently Dad also wanders around at night if his visitor manages to fall asleep. And he absolutely refuses to wear a mask which is a big no no (obviously, and of course) but it does no good explaining to him because he forgets about it almost immediately. Poor hubby dealing with ALL this... I'm going to make him his favorite cake when this is all over. He deserves it.

Dad is doing just fine, responding to antibiotics very well, he's just ornery.

Dad came home with hubby last night. My stint at the hospital was very short, only 6hrs to give hubby a break, run errands, etc. Hubby said the nurses were relieved Dad was going home. He said they mostly pretended politely that he wasn't that much of a problem except one older night nurse that reminded him of Selma from Night Court. He said she saw them leaving and said Thank God.

Dad's doing much better, to the point you wouldn't know he was just in the hospital.
