In a fortuitous stroke of luck, I won on a scratcher ticket last night!! The clerk warned me against spending it all in one place.

I got my stitches out yesterday. I'm so happy, I've been gazing at the back-scratcher with something close to deep longing for days.

This weekend was rough for me. Went to an adult friend's party on Friday, housewarming, so there were kids too but it wasn't just for kids. We played cards, ate barbecue, pizza and cake, drank, gabbed, etc. Saturday, was a friend's daughter's Quinceanera this started at 4pm, and continued well past 9:30pm when we took our kids home because the youngest had crashed (sleeping hard) and was drooling on the table. BTW this 15th bday party was fancier than my wedding and I got married at the Renaissance Festival so that's saying something. Sunday was church, followed by a niece's 8th birthday party with MOAR cake, ice cream, games, balloons, bouncy house, singing, screaming, etc. Came home a little after 5, completely exhausted needing more weekend.

I had no idea when I typed this how true the words would be. I got sick Tuesday, I'm almost all better except for a chest cough and a sore throat (at this point its just sore from the continued coughing). My kids got sick Thursday night, even though hubby was doing his best to keep them away from me and the household going smoothly. Son is already better than I am with just a minimal cough, daughter is not recuperating as swiftly as her brother but she's getting better faster than I did. Luckily? this is spring break so they'll have a whole week to get back to their high energy, screaming, running, giggling selves. Originally Posted by Aelonwy

Spent last couple days on Fallen Earth. New crew is working to revitalize it, but it's slow going. They're currently having DAILY maintenance resets, and with good reason. Evening play is most horrendous lagfest I've ever seen. Gameplay wasn't bad, but anything that had to access your backpack, mailbox, or other storage would be a 10-30 second lag out. You could kill a mob easily enough, but would hang up trying to loot the body long enough for it to respawn and start smacking you while you're kneeling next to it's corpse.
It's good to be home.
