Just realized I had posted this in the WAY wrong thread.
So, a man & woman go to the county Recorder's office to pick up a marriage license. The clerk looks at their IDs, noticing that both last names are the same. She looks up at the two people before her with a questioning look, but before she can say anything the man explains, "I'm just marrying my sister so I can get on her insurance."

finished reading Self Made Man, by Norah Vincent, today.
very interesting book, can make you self reflect a bit, and look around you and notice things.
would recommend checking it out. it's about a woman who disguised herself as a man for 18 months.

This is true.
It also gets the man a sharp elbow in the ribs.
...but the bruise has pretty much cleared up now.

friend didn't want to answer his phone because some irritating girl was calling him, so i offered to answer.
cue a 5-10 minute conversation, where the girl didn't notice that i wasn't said friend.
his girlfriend called, i answered, she was able to tell i wasn't him.
he called one of my friends, she was able to tell he wasn't me.
