well, Steam Summer Sales have begun. I don't have any money i can spend, so that makes life a bit easier :P
was hoping to sell some of the event trading cards and pick up Battleblock Theater or Castle Crashers, but seems this time around they have specific cards for going through your discovery queue, so those have less value and mean it'll be harder for me to make some dough.

been playing Super Luigi U on Cemu, a WiiU emulator.
apart from occasional frame freeze and the likes, running quite well.

sadly my skills seem to have somehow deteriorated, to the point where i'm dying multiple times on the first level.
either that, or Luigi is more... slippery.

Did some spring cleaning on my hard drives. Cleared around 200GB so far, and that's just from removing junk and duplicates. Once I start curating a bit the number will go even higher. Organising everything too.


I find myself missing my dog more nowadays. Maybe it took some time to sink in, I don't know. But wish she were here.

well, external hard disk is cleaned, as is laptop hard drive (save for some programs, i'll do that later)
organised everything, backed up all my media except for photos (which are mostly memes anyways)

took me some hours, but it all looks so neat now.

good thing college starts in a week :P

i'll probably go through the actual contents once in college, clean out more media i don't want to keep. i've cleaned around 300GB, it'll probably double once i'm done.

I see (and have to fix/do) nightly examples of how stupid and lazy people can be and still expect a paycheck.


(Every night I catch myself humming "If I only had a brain" while redoing stuff. That's when I'm still in a decent mood. Then that transitions to mumbling expletives under my breath.)

Afternoon all.

Just made lunch for the kids. Their tastes are so different even something as simple as sandwiches involves taking a dozen items out of the fridge. At least my son is making some of his own meals now, (with some supervision). I still don't trust him with anything sharper than a butter knife. Unfortunately, he inherited my clumsiness ( Dex 8 ) instead of my hubby's deftness (Dex 14+).
