Hey y'all. Got a favor to ask.

One of my few HS friends and original D&D groupies just got news their mother (& basically my 2nd mom) has stage 3/4 lymphoma. Her 82nd birthday is coming up and they're organizing a card shower for her, aiming for at least 82 cards. Since we cover a large portion of the globe, I'm asking if any of ya'll would send cards from your home turfs. I think it'd be awesome to see her reaction when she gets cards from around the world.

I'm deciding against posting her address openly, but anyone interested in sending a birthday card please PM me for the address.

Helped my daughter make a vet status Dragonborn yesterday, she wanted to be green (her favorite color after pink). Mostly she was running around attacking bad guys unarmed because she enjoyed the feral fighting animations.

"Look Mommy I'm biting him!" she exclaims excitedly.

I'm not sure if I should laugh or be worried.

life has a funny way of tossing you curve balls at times...
All the negative stuff that's occurring got tossed out the window last saturday when I went to look at a broken heatpump from someone I had known a while ago... Long story short and several drinks later I have a new lady friend to keep the forthcoming winter nights a tad less lonely.

Personnel life getting back in shape... check
Work life getting back in shape ... Check
Financial life getting back in shape ... Nope Ex still being a toe rag lol

Received some bad news yesterday afternoon, my Mom is in the hospital, had another stroke. Send a prayer if you can, positive thoughts if prayer isn't in you. Trying to be light-hearted with the kids, their last experience in the hospital was my grandmother passing just before Christmas.

My daughter asked if her cleric could help grandma and I almost burst into tears.
