Mad King Thorn events start October 18th for GW2.
Looking forward to the Halloween stuff starting in LOTRO. Maybe I can get a cosmetic or two for my characters on Laurelin. Thus far I haven't been back to Landroval in over a week.
Meowrning.
Woke up at twenty to five with a pounding head. Couldn't get back to sleep so got up at a quarter after five with a migraine. Hopefully the Advil will take care of it. Otherwise I'll have to reschedule meeting up with a friend to next week.
Edit: And have to reschedule. Bummer.

Okay, so this news story came on and I had to check the calendar to make sure we hadn't warped to April...
Who, seriously, names their product "Soylent"?? Sheesh.

Only thing that could make this creepier is if it had had a green wrapper. ...or green food coloring.

The company has been in business for quite some time actually. And when you actually look into their base product you'll find out that it honestly is aptly named.
I've honestly thought about contacting the company to see if they couldn't do a product/mug/spoon promotion.

I had to look this up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soylen...ducts.27_names
I guess you are talking about the old movie and not the book? Was it in monochrome?

I remember when the guy who started it was still working on his prototype powder (it made some unusual news sources I read). I didn't know they got to "bars". Although the name references the infamous Soylent Green, it is actually a significant step up in the quality of meal replacements (at least as far as nutrition is concerned).
Most meal replacements are little more than protein, sugar, and sometimes fiber. If you use them regularly, you really need to take multi-vitamins too. Even then, they shouldn't be used to replace all meals.
The Soylent product is supposed to cover proper nutrition. It's an interesting concept for people who regularly skip or miss meals and are concerned about proper healthy eating.
Zyinniah Hazelnut and Curissa Hazelnut on most servers.
Still, I think I'll stick with pizza and cheeseburgers just a little longer.
...and pop-tarts.

Hi all. TGIF.
Not much doing today here. Baked a batch of banana nut muffins with the firstborn. I should take her to go collect some autumn leaves for her preschool art project, but quite frankly I'm only functioning by pure will and pumpkin spice coffee right now. Lil man, despite being 6 months old, is eating every 2 hours round the clock like a newborn and I'm just DEAD.
Hubby is well, though working a bit of OT lately. He'll be going in tomorrow too, sadly. I'd hoped to go to a corn maze as a fam but guess that'll wait for... sometime.
How's youse guys?
