Hello, this is a bit off-topic, even to this thread, but I'm looking for a guy named Parvo. Has anyone seen him around?
I do know who you're looking for, but haven't seen a post from him in a while....
Here's his last post in 2014:

Might check with the Mortal Voyage folks.

Labor Day weekend approaches...
MY weekend? Since rain here will finally hold off a few days (hopefully), will be fixing leak in back porch and joining ex at her place cleaning up basement. Seems she's had a waterfall from a wall crack every time it's rained this week.
Is gonna be a blast, I can just feel it.
Hmm. Post 1965...

Feeling guilty now posting a Corvette instead of a Jeep. So the assuage my guilt:

My dream car is the Lotus Elise, which is actually kinda affordable.
Just started playing Wildstar and that's pretty fun! It reminds me of either GW2 or City of Heroes combat (been a while since I played either) imposed an on Allods Online world, and the duo class system is kinda cool. My guy is a Medic/Settler space zombie. The Settler part harvests stuff and builds buff/banking stations for people to use out in the world, and the voice acting of the game is great.![]()

I want a Jeep. That is my dream vehicle. So, actually quite affordable compared to many.
Glad you're having fun.
I finally finished up some other quests in LOTRO so I'm back out in Rohan and leveling my war pony. Gosh, I'm actually having fun. I've been putting some points into agility so my pony turns better and wow it makes a difference. I'm a bit shocked. I did take some time out to get some of the Farmer's Faire quests done today. I'll be back at it tomorrow for the newest steed and then the war steed cosmetic.

We just got rid of our Jeep Grand Cherokee, happily.
I made a new Beorning but just haven't gotten into it. Maybe it just feels lonely, or something.
I don't have a hoverboard yet. The game also has an extensive housing system but again I don't have a house yet for details. Doesn't appear to be a pay-to-win game either, just perusing the cash shop.
Little man just got his next series of immunizations and has been fussy fussy, so will most likely try to stay home as much as possible for a couple days. We want to go to the Pittsburgh Ren Fest this weekend so he needs to be rested up!

My mom had a Grand Cherokee that was a lemon. So, I can't ague that sentiment. I never want a Grand Cherokee because of her experience.
I find low levels to be largely boring. Who knows maybe Middle Earth just isn't your cup of tea right now. I've rerolled my dwarf champ into a minstrel and barely got him to 15. I did go ahead and buy beorning this morning since it's on sale yet and she's 11 now but I'm starting to peter out on her too. Yet when I log onto my hobbit I'm raring to go and have a blast... My only other two are another hunter (elf, meh) and a RK. The RK feels gutted under the new system plus shocking words gives me a migraine so he's more or less unplayable now for me. Heh...I ran on a bit there...
Hover board could be cool. The only thing that ever caught my attention about Wildstar was the housing but I am so not up for a new MMO right now. GW2 and LOTRO are enough.
I hope you guys get to have fun at the faire this weekend. The shows are quite enjoyable. I would love to see some real jousting not just staged play acting jousting.
Guess we're in too small a minority with that. TV show Full Metal Jousting didn't make it past first season.
Shame it was tainted with all that 'reality show drama' junk.
PS: Freebie on LOTRO side: MOREOFBOTH (skill/slayer boost)

New Zealand earthquake. Luckily, this is way up north so not near Iss.
My 1st ex is in Aukland area and texted daughter that she didn't feel anything.

I'd love to be a bug in the phone for that convo with the insurance company.

So if the Wildstar subreddit is to be believed, the population of that game is in severe decline and nobody under level 50 can ever get a group.
But... last night I got into a level 6(!!!) dungeon queue in like 30 seconds with two other random players. We smashed the dungeon, got loot, and went on our way.
While... my 70ish EQ2 templar had been queued the entire time during this in another window - on a double XP holiday weekend during prime time - and was still waiting on a dungeon group for over 15 minutes.
And... I see lots of other newbies playing in the starting areas of WS, but Lotro's is empty. Like barren wasteland I see noooooboooody.
I guess I should hang up all these old era games and just play modern ones from now on, but the old ones always seem like a homecoming when I pick them up again - familiar and cozy, and usually with a few new things to check out.
Sigh.
I like MMOs for the people though.
Hugs.
