I guess our parents still listen to that music that was new when they were kids.
Finnish heavy metal does not get much radio play here. Some bands that do are Stratovarius (very much Helloween), NightWish (standard heavy with classical alto vocalist) and Apocalyptica (4 cellos who started with Metallica covers). Oh, and then there is HIM if you count that

Nightwish I actually recognize, but didn't their female lead cause too much drama so they had to get someone else that just isn't able to preform the original stuff as good so they don't do it? Or am I thinking of something else?

This is correct band, altough I don't know if the lady was responsible for the drama or the boys.
I think they are having third female to fill the role these days, and I think she is from Sweden.

Don't recall how many years I've been plodding along breaking Snow-Jars**, but finally broke my 300th one tonight.

While the main cast is utterly turning me off, esp with their... depiction (of which I have writers, director, and Sony to blame), I rather very much like the FX designs of ghosts they have going on and I'm curious about the sound track. But I'll admit... I may go see it, if anything just out of respect because of how one of the actresses defended the portrayal of her character.
