just been busy with exams.
sent in my first college application a few days ago.

Had a very interesting Friday last week.

So, I come home from school on the bus. I'm walking home, when I see this girl sitting on the ground, clutching her bicycle.
So I go up to her, and her mother is there, holding her arm.
Basically the girl was trying to get away, and the mother was stopping her.

Girl seemed to be having an anxiety attack.
So I asked if I could help etc.
Turns out they'd been stuck like that for a few hours.
Girl was in a really bad state. So I called her father (the mother had rushed out after her)
Then called an ambulance.
They were able to get the bicycle away from her, and they took her to someone's house. I went with the mother to her house, to check up on her and help out.

Mother was in a bad state too.
Anyways. I ended up going with them to the hospital in case any help was needed.(on the mother's request)
Her friend had also arrived, and she came with.
So I talked to the psychologist, told her what happened.

She met the psychologist. Then she wanted to go out to the malls. Wanted me to come with.
I said sure(at this point things were kinda surreal, so i just took it as an adventure). Went along. She got a tongue piercing. Then we (she, her friend, and I) went to a shopping area. Had coffee.
Then we came back home to our apartment complex.

we're friends now.

Like I said. Interesting day.

Good to hear you are Ok there, DB. Last I heard you were dealing with grades and parents.

As for your outing... *chuckles* If you end up with anything like I did with college, that may be a bit of the norm for the next 4 years of your life. It is when you really start to create your own identity of self. It can be.... quite the experience as you redefine who you are. Your life, if it turns out like mine, may very much become like an anime drama. (No, I'm neither joking nor teasing. 100% serious.)

As for the tongue piercing, my only warning is careful of your teeth.

Luckily, so far, sounds like only the girl with issues did the self-mutilation tongue-piercing thing.

Was wondering about that when they closed I-70 over there.

I started w*** early last night to miss the beginning of the ice/mix storm here, but still got caught by about an hour's worth - that first hour before they start treating the highways.
