Got w*** finished up early again and headed out to the far outskirts of town to catch some Perseids time. Doesn't peak until tomorrow morning, but was still some decent early meteors this morning. Several low & bright enough to leave burning debris sparkles in their wake. Still too close to the city to see all the tiny/faint ones, but a good pass every 4-5 minutes made it a worthy hour.
Hoping the clouds stay away for another day like they're supposed to and I can get a little further out of town tomorrow morning.

And Having worked in a refinery... Store the wrong chemicals together... Or roll the wrong 'blind '
(A blank used to seal a pipe under maint.) when the line is not clear.. And cause a spark...
And Kaboom. I wound up in the middle of a nice fireball when a friend accidentally caused a spark at a most in opportune time when a line was not purged properly. Things got pretty scary pretty fast. I was almost a very very crispy Bekki... I changed jobs a few week later....

Made sure I finished w*** again last night in time to go find a better dark spot to meteor hunt.
Last night wasn't much better on quantity than the previous night, but there were a lot more 'closer' ones, that were brighter and left debris trails. One very bright one even looked like it exploded at the end of it's entry.
Then there were these two overly curious bats. Biggest ones I've ever seen around here circled just overhead a few times shortly after I found a spot.
...I probably would've seen more, but apparently I dozed off for about a half hour at one point.

Nothing of note lately. Hubby still on OT. Baby doing baby things (2nd birthday next week.) Tinrae doing Tinrae things.
