SOE, which is now Daybreak, has opened up two new servers called time locked servers. one is strictly pvp, the other is pve.

these two servers have been set up ..the game as it once was. No fancy gear, no AAs, no butcherblock mountain, no claims items, if you want to go to commonlands if you are good, you have to go through antonica to get there. no druid portals, no wizard spires. etc. Everyone is equal in terms of gear, spells, etc. except for what they find questinog. Oh yeah and no mercs. People are grouping. Some are leveling faster than others, some are crafting (gee I wonder who falls into this category). My conjuror is lvl 23 tailor lvl 10 adventure.

when hubby and I first started playing eq2, it was around the time of collecting wood for the project of building the wizard spires. In 30 days, those people that have reached lvl 30 get to vote on how the server progresses. What stays what goes. the cap level at this time is 50. This is NOT for people in a rush to level. I mean there are hardcore players doing just that but that's their thing. Crafting is slow, adventure leveling is slow. As it should be. If you don't wait for that vitality to go back up, you pay the price. Oh yeah, no guild halls introduced as of yet so harvesting is a pain in the neck LOL.

I love you all, my friends. I haven't forgotten you. I just haven't felt like playing DDO lately. I did get it reinstalled. I think.

I've messed around with the idea of playing on Stormhold just to see what it's like. I'm just having a hard time of thinking about starting over though, heh. Especially since Shiotora isn't even 100 yet but at the same time it sounds genuinely intriguing to try playing the game how it once was vs. what it is now...

Yup, you can create as a fae. You have to be an all access member to play on the TLE servers though.
