    That sucks man...

    Ok; you win.

My Baja is only a case of having 140,000 + miles on it.

Re-downloading DDO after who knows how many years. just hope i find enough people to play it with.
had a hit of nostalgia the other day. DDO is the one MMORPG where i've loved playing characters and classes, because of just how much it let you customise your class.
i know it'll be lonely, but it'll be nice to get back into the game for a bit.

The Muskateer's frequent G' Land and Thelanis.
And though Acme is a smaller guild on Thelanis; they are a good crew.

I would also look up Tyrs Palladium on Ghallanda.
They are a great no drama guild and have folks from all time zones.

You can tell them Bekki referred you.

I am very sorry about your dog.
My heart goes out to you and your family.

    Just exchanged words with Tinrae.

Fam doing well. No puter atm, so that's why she's been quiet. Looking forward to an airplane flight with young'uns. Hehheh. Told her it was gonna be an experience worthy of bard tales for decades.

On the downer side, is thinking of trading out of Jeep to a Subie. No loyalty any more.

    Say it isn't so!!!

    Okay, I will say...
I've had my oldest "Subie" (The Baja) for... 13 years.
    The pros...
Mileage and Maint. : It still gets around 25 Mpg (combined city & Hwy)
The Outback and Legacy both Rock a combined 26 to 27 MPG. And on my
Recent road trip I avg'd 32 Mpg easy; and that was fully loaded.
(Albeit that was with Nothing on the roof rack though.)
and I have had no major Maint. Issues since owning it, ("Knocks wood")
(Aside from that Rogue tree a few months back) and the fender benders the two boys had...
But in all fairness that was not the cars fault.
I'm am just now eating to need to sink some money into the Baja
But it for things that are understandable after 140,000 miles...

Great in the Snow: It handles exceptionally well in the snow and some mud.

Reliability: What can I say; see Maint. & mileage: and the Outback has acquitted itself quite nicely
On my recent road trip. Both that one and the legacy are great Maint. Wise though I did have to get a leak fixed in the sun roof on the Legacy. But I think that was a clogged drain. And I e had no other major ( or minor really) issues otherwise.

Roomy for a mid sized vehicle: Both the Legacy and the outback (Forester and Crosstrek too)
Have a great deal of room for their size. I had enough room to fit luggage for 4 adult and a small dog crate + A LARGE (and smaller) cooler in the back of the Outback.
And the kids could still lounge out in the back...
(And it had plenty of power to take through the foot hills of Texas, New Mexico, and the Pennsylvania mountains... And I only have the 2.5 L CVT if you had the 3.6 R V6 you'd have power to spare.)

So All in all they are good reliable vehicles and I have been very happy with mine.

    Cons: Not a Jeep.

Not a Traditional 4WD: Great in light mud and the snow; But.

They are Not a traditional 4WD so if you get into anything heavier than 'light' off roading
you could get yourself in trouble.

Overconfidence: talk to a friend about this; they handle so well I sometimes have to remind myself
To drive a little smarter in the snow; Or I could get myself in trouble.

    Not a Jeep.

    Did I mention it's not a jeep?

It's a Subaru: Japanese car so parts (if needed) could be a little more expensive.

Tire sizes: IF you choose to go with a "Subie" one bad thing I've found for my Outback is the size of the tires I wanted to put All terrain tires on it but because of the tire size...
the only AT/S (All Terrain/Snow) Tire I can put on it are Yokohama Geolander AT/S's. Good tires
    But I was a little bummed I didn't have a larger selection.
You genarally will need to go with All Season car/ light truck tires...

    Uhmmm....
Not a full size spare tire: you get the bicycle tire... So there's that....

    And did I mention....

    Not a Jeep.

But all in all Incant complain. I've had a good run with mine...

Nope, I can't knock Subaru. A rental I had years ago was a Legacy sedan. I ran that one up to 120, punched it, and it shifted down out of OD and took off. Only reason I didn't cap the speedo was cuz traffic ahead was coming up FAST!

And in Tin's defense, she does have *2* itty-bit young'uns now.

doggo's moving around now, she's got a good bit of strength in her. she's become extremely hostile though, so that's posing handling issues.
    vet'll make a decision tomorrow.
