The biggest problem I see is that the airfoils are too short to provide enough lift for the amount of weight involved. If he cannot make the bike lighter, then he needs to make it longer to accommodate the longer airfoils fore and aft. Oh, and he needs better guards so the airfoils don't break against the ground.

Our little DB is growing up so soon. *wipes tear*

Or remove a portion of a leg in one of those landings.

Making it a hover-tricycle would probably help, too. (if not a quad)

The concept itself isn't new. Even the AF played with individual hover craft back in the day. But is just cool to have a thought, then go out to the garage and actually make it work. My inner teenager is SO jealous of that.

I hate to say it this way, Doom, but.... given the VN. You need to define better. I can think of a few that are equally bad.

Is it sad my thought was if he could get them to rotate 90 degrees he coudl have himself a two wheel bike? (much like a 4 wheel drive on a car.)

So this is the new go-kart? What is holding you back? You know you want to. Dare to dream and make it real.

    Iron Maiden was awesome.

Totally deafening and gave me serious back ache after standing in the throng for couple of hours, but totally worth it all the same
My supplier not only got us tickets, but bought us each a tour T-shirt (which looks pretty awesome as they did a rugby theme with all our rugby foes battered and bloodied on the ground ) then shouted us all a lot of rather yummy brown frothy cold beverages ... aka heineken both before and after the event.
Best night out i've had in ages

It still amazes me however that one of them flies the 747 they own.

Gravity is a myth ... the earth just sucks.
Common Sense ... not very common and makes little sense
Old age healing..... yeah sadly you got me on that one.

1/3 excuses hold ... not enough reasons to not give it a go

hah, hate to ruin people's fun but...yikes...imagine flying two lawnmowers like that completely exposed. Guy is missing a screw up there...Unless he wants it to mow lawns...

Heh, yeah. But the loose screw is a given if you watched any of his other vids.

When I first read the headline, my first impression is that someone had jerry-rigged a bicycle frame between two hover-boards and turned them into a motorized bicycle.

...which just now prompted me to dig up a picture of a Segway modified with extra wheels, and found a real man's Segway!
