Had to drag her out of bed this morning, 3 days in and she was just "too tired", Still she is enjoying it and i'm loving the time we get together. Was rather priceless today when we were at one of my suppliers when I noticed a couple of blokes stop what they were doing and check her out, Might be needing that shotgun after all, lol. Mind you, she does look pretty darn hot so don't really blame them for looking.
I think it's awesome that you're getting to work with your daughter. Better yet that you're both enjoying it!

Hahaha... my kids wonder at times why the allure of flying and guns have little on me anymore.. then I pull out the pics of me doing door gunner duties in our old Iroquois... and yeah then they remember.. nap of the earth flying with an M60 in hand vs single shot rifle and 10,00ft "safe" flying... boring... lol.

I do remember still how to make explosives from household items and how to make fireworks.... thats something they might be interested in one day

    Glad to entertain

Missing summed me up quite well, heh. But to be fair and explain - I know who I am and where I'm going so have no issues been me, even if that does entail wearing pink, and teaching my girls how to be a ladies. One of the biggest lessons I can impart to my kids is to be themselves and not what the world tries to make them into. If you can get that then you can do anything with vigour and perfection with no worry about been outside the social norm of your gender/age/race whatever.
Heck even talking to one of my girls last night and she commented.. "how do you know so much about my little ponies" (no I'm not a bronie!) my reply... I listen and learn and don't shut myself out of things, you would be wise to do the same.

But yeah... I guess hearing a bloke talking about doing french manicures and other feminine stuff can be kinda weird if you just look at certain comments, hehe. As I said happy to entertain and confuse

That he was, I'd have to say I wasn't a great fan of much of his music, but he did have some gems and as such will be missed.

    speaking of music...

Iron Maiden is in town next Friday and yours truly has free tickets thanks to one of my suppliers
I grew up with Iron Maiden in my early school years and with the rate of entertainer check outs these days, I'm not missing this chance as it might never come back again.

I am glad she is happy. Recent studies show that girls entering adolescents (11-14) have had a big uptick in suicide rates the past 15 years. Social media & other pressures...very sad to think about.

Ok not a jolly thing to post about...

on another note: looks like the forums here have lost one of its most selfless contributors, Ellis.
If he doesn't make an appearance (or respond to my PM) I was thinking a 'toast' thread would be in order.

Larry Elmore looks younger than I thought. Maybe it's the red shirt he's wearing.

Mind you it's pretty standard as i'm in flight suit with helmet down, the others are all similar as they where taken by Air Force photographer during an exercise. Sad part is I can no longer remember which exercise they are from.
