WotC version with item and mutation cards, that unfortunately was discontinued when White Wolf got the lisence.
Last real RPG I have played.

Oh, that sucks. One of my fave games from the 80s, tho wasn't a huge fan of the new card system. They had warped the combat into a version of D&D 4th ed.

Googling the situation. All I'm finding is where the WW license expired and is back under WoTC's umbrella - and they haven't done squat with it since. That was 2010ish era.

I may be just confused here. When I was looking for the books two years ago, everything was gone from the net and retailer's catalogs except White Wolf version, but now that I try to look into it with google search and wiki pages I just don't know anymore.

I never played the original, but I have played lots of different games and systems from 80s and 90s, so I had come to appreciate a bit more streamlined design, and cards to remind casual player about his options.
We had played a lot of 3.0 and 3.5 D&D, and all that bookkeeping and NPC design chores led me to think that 4th ed was actually a good idea. I had also enjoyed playing the short lived D&D miniatures game 2nd edition.

My preferred game style was always "we make the game world better place" with "game is an excuse to gather and have fun".

Seconding the ssoidh - especially knowing that hasn't been an easy decision for ya.

...tho I did almost give the beard a run for it's money. Have since trimmed mine back. W*** never said anything to me directly, but the guidelines for facial hair kept being posted on the announcements board. Heh.

I see a young, possibly debonair (lose that particular shirt. ), young Captain Nemo there. (20000 leagues under the sea/ League of extraordinary gentlemen.) And yes, that is a compliment.

    I could see that.

This is last December, about the longest I let the beard get before I started trimming it back:

    Default Saturday Morning Giggles

I want to thank everyone for a great laugh this morning. And to congratulate DB on completing his finals.

It's been a rough couple of weeks at w**k. Seems they want to throw more w**k at us without hiring more peeps -- ah corporate amerika.

CD and DB are both handsome with their beards. It's nice to be able to put faces to "names".

DB, I hope you didn't stir up too much drama with you cutting your hair.
