Pray the iPad doesn't screw up on you. Or else what you think you own realize you do not and only recourse are to buy again or sue.
As for an Android phone, I have had zero issues with mine.
Some phones suck, some phones do not. (note I did not call out any brand) Funny how the market is.
I have always been a firm believer in that if I buy something, it and my contents within are mine. What Apple is applying is close to renter logic in their over zealous behavior.
first exam ended yesterday. second one tomorrow. this is it. i mess up now, im screwed.
hoo boy. exams end 15th March.
at least i have a week till the exam after tomorrow's, which means i get to see Deadpool
Doppelganger? Whatever are you talking about, my dear?
I doubt it's the phone itself. I'm pretty sure it's the really sad quality control (or lack thereof) for both Android itself and what is allowed in the app store(s).
When installing a single app from the app store turns it from being on standby for 3 days before a charge (ok I've never managed that, but I use the phone most days) to dying before lunch, there is definitely a quality control issue at the app store.
And it's not just the app store. I've seen battery life go from 2 days of use between charges to dying before the end of the day from a patch or OS upgrade. This doesn't even get into the clunky interface (which to be fair hasn't been clunky in a while).
As much as I don't like the lock-in that Apple has with their store, at least they have enough QA in place to ensure that no crappy third party app can kill your battery in less than a day.

Just looked out in the back yard - and daffodils are sprouting up! Currently about 2-3 inches tall.
Maybe there's something to that whole groundhog thing...
Apple and Android are both guilty of this.
But in so far as the app stores (both of them), energy drain... Is that really a tested category for acceptance? I don't know if it is or not. I really don't think it should be but it would be great to have an energy rating provided.
Normally a clunky interface is a problem of hardware touchscreen and calibration in my experience. Yes you do have to recalibrate every so often.
Also, like Windows, the more apps you install, the more issues you'll have.

Like I said, issues. *just blinks at this one*

I have to teach among other things internet security, so I skimmed a report. Here is the highlight for you: https://www.yahoo.com/tech/report-on...202610899.html
Malware is coming also to windows phones, but those are most safe smartphones for now, because they are minority. Personally I just bought most stupid phone I could find, I just need a camera and bluetooth for handsfree built into my car.
Also comment on DB:s exams. In my w*** I see how youngsters find for the first time that thinking is hard work that can make their brains hurt.
We say "Tieto lisää tuskaa." Literal translation is "Knowledge increases pain."
Is that literal pain? Or the figurative type?
I know it increases stress for certain.
emm...
Knowledge is power.
Knowledge increases pain.
To work out enduces pain.
So to have power you have pain.
Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely...
Does that make pain corruption? You become corrupt trying to releave pain?
It is more general version of pain, maybe agony or suffering? Pure physical pain is "kipu".
In all sincerety I think corruption would not be the right word for me, although a loss of innocense is involved.
Cynisism perhaps? Agony over loss of simple world view and authorities? Agony over ignorance of the masses?
Consider a singer who takes singing lessons. He learns better technique and a way to monitor his performance. This makes him acutely aware of the flaws in techniques, his own and other singer's, and this pains him. Still curiosity drives us to better understand things and to better see all these pain-inducing flaws all around us. It still is better to know.
Last night at w***... Never a truer statement uttered there^^.
Two in particular. Look right at you, then pull out in front of you anyway trying to intimidate you into stopping for them. Both were very lucky I was still in the borrowed Escape and not my Jeep. Absolutely, unwaveringly certain I'd have introduced my steel framework to their tasty aluminum door panel. Jeep's needing that front end work done anyhow...
