    1) First consideration is available space. If you have to room to hoard, HOARD! (I'm a hoarder...)
    1. Greensteel. At level 25 I still haven't found a better great crossbow.
    2. Muckbane, Muckdoom. Some of my characters have these. I think one has a pair of Muckbanes. No Muckdoom yet.
    3. clickies ... but which ones? I managed to get a 1/rest ring of raise dead; that's a keeper.
    4. If I ever manage to get it, definitely Jack Jibber's cursed blade. Who wouldn't want to run around as a cursed wraith for a full minute after you die? Might even be able to cast raise dead or something.
    5. Some of the stuff I've made from the Crystal Cove event. I do wish I didn't need so many copies of things to keep them useful at all levels.
    6. The awesome hat from Crystal Cove. But that's as much for it's stylish awesomeness as any sort of benefit it provides.
    7. Key to eveningstar? That speed pendant? The die of +5%XP?
    8. Definitely keep Elieri Thistledown the permanent gold seal hireling. With augment summoning she's pretty solid to level 8 and a good lever puller after that. I suspect with a few druid past lives behind you, she's probably good through level 12 or so.

The trouble with hoarding is storage space. You loose all that great bank space and backpack space when you TR.

Aye, true that. I've bought all of the extra storage available, so it wasn't TOO painful for me. Most stuff gets left in TR bank until you get your favor built back up for the rest of your storage slots.

    Whatever you want, really.

If you had to work to get it, or it is worth while named loot or even just loot that has good memories? Might as well keep it.

Mind you, I'm a pack rat so if you are trying to limit your stack, I'm the wrong one to ask.

    Hi everybody!

I am long time lurker, posted to the last thread once or twice.

I wanted to comment on the topic of items for TR.
I just recently got Chronoscope, and even though the might of abishai set is not that powerful, it has nice utility: poison resist, fireballs to break doors and things like that.
Korthos set I will start to destroy. Maybe keep Gem of many facets.
I love to keep key to eveningstar, but usually forget to use Phiarlan pendant.
Ioun stones are great for low levels. Like the SP one.

Many named items feel obsolete, and some old random gen low lvl +6 stat boost items I feel were worth keeping.
I have two mules for my main toon, and I also keep most of the stuff in TR cache until it is level to use them.

It is less than one hour to new year here, and I'll go to see the fireworks. Happy new year!

We were missing the drunk uncle and a big family fight.

I saw the new year in at work sadly. still got way to much to get done adn am rapidly running out of time (Have commercial building to wire up and do HVAC services in that gets internal linings put up on the 5th and we are only just starting it today ..eek!)

As for the drunk uncle and family fight ... how about having the riot squad called due to a very large gathering of teenagers (not ours thankfully) outside the house turning into an open brawl. I have a smashed up $30K new front fence as a result of that event last night. Not very happy about it at all coming home at 1am to see that.

So Happy new year to you all.

*sigh* I'm sorry you have to put up with that sort of behavior down there. Granted my parents would have had my hide, I'd be having to pay for the damages, let alone probably having to do the work myself IF the recipient allowed for such. (assuming it was work I could do.)

    Argh! The w-word!

...and me, too. Was a pretty miserable night. The Stoopids were once again out in force, and most of the usual people I know on my route had taken the night off.

Happy New Year to you to, and nice to see the "/lurker mode" disabled

I havent played in the new loot gen era at all (spend close to 18hrs a day at wo*k so no time to game) but from last I saw game direction was such that theres simply no need to keep items for TR, just run with what you loot and your fine these days. Probably not even worth farming for "good" items either anymore, not to sure on that one though as I don't play enough to really comment much anymore.

    Enjoy the new year

yeah, I hear ya and I would have had the same situation from my folks. Sadly the world isnt the same place it was and that situation wont be happening anytime soon.
The damage isnt even worth claiming insurance on as the excess will be to high (why do we even bother with insurance?) it'll take me about 4 hours to fix I guess as the fence was made in such a way that repairs will be okish to do (sectional wooden fence between solid concrete block pillars). I'm just fortunate I had a few left over wooden fence panels already prepainted.

I think the fella who got slammed into the fence is going to be pretty darn sore though as the pails are 1 inch thick and the impact of him being pushed into the fence is what smashed the pails.

and CD.... glad to see I wasn't the only sad person this new years, hehe

Got the fam together and went to Star Wars this morning... Gah.

Even with my club card and going during cheaper morning prices, between tix, drinks, and a few bags of popcorn, the total was >$150 for 7 of us....

    Absurd.

    As for the movie... *shrug*.
    That's all I'll say.

No amount of text can spoil it for me. Why? I'm more interested in the fights and the newer spaceship models of which your really can't do justice to such in text.

I felt it was entertaining. Not something i'd go see again, but i was entertained all the same.
It had the feel of a fan flick to me rather than an original movie, thats probably why i was just entertained.
But to each their own interpretation, others may disagree

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Odin is sad cat today. The tree is down and put away. He loved sleeping back in the corner behind it and laying on the skirt.

    Yeah,
Our tree is still up, probably take it down this weekend.

It makes me sad to take all the decorations down.
The winter just seems... Happier, with them up.
