Morning. Lucky you. I'd like to see 6 inches of snow but I live in coastal Texas. This is one of the balmiest winters I've seen since I was in high school. Still seeing mid-to-high 70s most days... and one day in December was over 80. In December!!! When I was in school they blamed it on the El Nino phenomena.

I am pretty excited to see this make it into the game. I remember just reading, and re-reading, this module. I very nearly had it memorized. Not sure if I want to favor run it with Chunks first or play it as a new toon. Think I will wait for the coin drops and stuff to be over to really sink myself into it. /coffee /savorycupcake

Of that series Small Gods is my favorite, although Death is probably my favorite character. I have tremendous difficulty reading Terry Pratchett in part because most/all of the Discworld series doesn't have traditional chapter breaks and nearly every scene ends on the proverbial cliffhanger making you want to read the next scene.
Except that he is usually alternating scenes between different groups of characters such that I find myself paging ahead in the book to follow only the group of characters or story line I'm most interested in resulting in me having to page backwards to follow the rest of the book traditionally. Its mentally exhausting. Some of my Discworld books therefor are color coded by the group of characters in the scene allowing me to reread the book more conveniently.

Two older comps said don't even try, for me also.
I've been running behind that tide for awhile. I saved for a bit, finally got a 'modern' sys. Windows now is bloated mal-ware, imho. The 'active tiles' on the start menu, really really, really ripped it for me. Straight over the edge.
Anyway, I hope it's within your means to get a new system. Current computers are still over-priced, I think. Good luck getting the loot together, these days it's much tougher to have 'extra'.

And that is a well rendered pig, I mean high-def skin texture. lol it's a beaut... I would laugh if those were rolling around stormreach, good for a chuckle.

Upgraded my dad's laptop, it's a pain in the arse now.

I don't recall having any problems when I upgraded (free) my current system from 7 Pro to 10 Pro. When I later reinstalled on a new SSD, I did have to go get that Direct X download thingy to make DDO act right in hi-res, but I had to do that on 7, anyway.
