Good afternoon all.
Well drat. With less than an hour left of school before an early dismissal, my littlest munchkin managed to break her arm. Its a clean break, still lined up, but she'll need to wear a cast all through her Spring Break. And unfortunately she has a cousin's birthday/pool party to go to, where she'll be left out of the swimming fun. At least they didn't have to pull on her arm to set it... I'm not sure I could have watched that without getting upset.

I would go with a multi-color pack of Sharpies(tm).

As to decorating, any permanent markers should work well.

The pediatrician put her arm in a brace and a sling and sent her X-rays to an orthopedic surgeon. Owing to how late the surgeon's office got the X-rays and got back with us, she won't get a permanent cast till Mon morning. Also the surgeon's assessment of the X-rays contradicted the pediatrician. The surgeon says she has a spiral fracture.
How can a spiral fracture have such clean edges? Doesn't a spiral fracture need surgery? I am not chill right now.Last edited by Aelonwy; 03-09-2018 at 07:20 PM.
