Its raining quite a bit here. Luckily, we live in a relatively high area Harvey seems to have dumped enough water to flood the surrounding neighborhoods. Hubby told me when he went to the store yesterday that the local bayou is already filling up... not a good sign.

Watching the footage from Corpus and Houston. Heh. That 6-8 pour we had last week seems like a drizzle compared to what Harvey's dumping on y'all.

Good morning all.

I'm not too worried about us, we're in an old neighborhood but its survived countless hurricanes, floods, and tornadoes since the mid 60's. I am worried about family scattered around the state. We've got a whole bunch of folks not too far from Corpus, and some family close to Galveston, and the one group in Rosenberg where sinkholes are closing off the roads. We're keeping in touch though.
