Roleplaying club got some new blood for the next campaign (Princes of the Apocalypse).
We used to have 2-4 players, and now we will have 8 players at the beginning.
Character so far are Fiend pact Tiefling Warlock, Earth Genasi Paladin, Human (Crossbow Expert) Ranger, 2wf Ranger Aarakocra, Wood Elf Druid and High Elf Arcane Tricster Rogue.
Expecting one Healing domain Cleric and fast (Aarakocra or Wood Elf?) Monk from the last players.
Group will be missing arcane artillery, but at least the healing overcompensates.
Also so far every character is spellcaster.
With this Warlock and Paladin in the group I will have to keep a close eye on player interactions and intervene in case of players not having fun. This worries me a bit.

Good evening everyone.
Our best DM (my hubby's best friend) and his wife, recently moved away due to his work so we haven't had a PnP game in over a month. How to know when you are fiending for table-top gaming? I'll tell you from experience, its when you watch other people play DnD (such as Acquisitions Inc) while you rifle through your character sheets and fondle your dice whist-fully.

It was a thought....
But seriously...Thanks guys...
I'm trying to stay positive. And Trying to just play it off 'meh' like for the wife so I don't scare her.
The issue is with my leg, it started as what looked like a rash or something.
So I talked to the doc took the usual meds (usually work well) but it just got worse and worse.
So go to the doc and he says" it looks like "$&@$."
(Former Navy Doc.)
I trip to the Dermatologist and a biopsy later and here I am...

after hearing about it for maybe the 7th or 8th time, I've finally started a blog.
I'll give it a shot, see where it goes. I don't really know if I'll spread it or not, though.
I don't know, just seems... odd. As if why would anyone want to read it?
But hey, link's there if you want. And I won't complain if you like it and want to share it.
Doppelganger? Whatever are you talking about, my dear?
Good afternoon all.
Positive thoughts and prayers headed your way Bek. I remember a study we talked about in my Human Genetics class in college about the effects of mood on the immune system. People that were generally positive and tried to stay positive even during health crises tended to have elevated immune systems and greater white blood cell productivity than those that dwelled on the negative. I'm sorry that, that's about all I remember from it... oh and something about replacing watching the news with watching stand up comedy but I don't think that was part of the study so much as part of the commentary when we were discussing ways to bolster or support positive thinking. Hope it helps or at the very least gives you a laugh about all the odd things that end up being made into studies.
*hugs*

It is well though out and I think it has good form. I agree with most of it.
It reminds me about a book "Matka masennuksesta minuuteen" = journey from depresion to selfhood (only in Finnish, sorry)
It is about the writer's painting therapy, where she depicts her depression as a huge gray fish that coils around something small and colourful. At first she thinks the fish is her enemy holding her prisoner, but later comes to the conclusion that the fish is there to protect her from outside demands that were driving her to burnout.
