My Arty main is now 20 on her 3rd life. The Past Life feat says can be stacked 3 times, but on her char sheet it says it's been taken 3 times already.

Does 3rd life max the stack of Past Life benefits, or 4th?

However, by Saturday evening I was learning how awkward it is playing Cards Against Humanity with son, eldest daughter, ex, and... mother.

Thankfully, my kids are still littles so playing that game is many years away for them.

Try the game upon which CAH was based: Apples-to-Apples. It's absolutely clean and safe for children.

Saw this ^ Saturday night but wasn't ready to join the group. Mostly 'cause we lost my grandmother Saturday afternoon and I wasn't really ready to talk about it. However, I'm a parent so I had to jolly well be ready to talk about it... to the school counselor when they called about my son being morbid and telling people repeatedly that when people die its sad.

So how about I toast your aunt and you toast my grandmother.

*Serves Nanny's favorite coconut flavored vodka*

*cheers* To the good ladies that came before us and the meaning they put in the word family.

*sigh* I'd also serve some of her favorite dishes but I never learned most of them. The only two I know well are made-from-scratch Turkey Pot Pie and Shepherd's Pie.
I'm going to go bake... anything... everything I have in my cupboards. See ya later. *waves*

Your son is honest, not morbid. It is sad when people die, like a sinkhole in your heart. We mourn the loss. We regret not doing or saying things when we had the chance. We cry. Hopefully, we then focus on the memories and contributions our loved ones made in our lives.

Misunderstanding. Being morbid is how the counselor described it before understanding the circumstances. My children were at the hospital with me when she passed, the nurse allowed them to go into the room with me and hold her hand and say good bye before her heart stopped. My daughter is very small and apparently didn't understand at all. My son is just old enough to comprehend. He seems okay to me not focusing on it especially but occasionally thinking about it and vocalizing his feelings as best he can. However, him talking about people dying at school when I didn't give them a heads up of what happened this weekend caused some concern. They overreact a lot. Last year he almost got suspended from first grade for telling another boy he was going to slay him... circumstances being they were playing Knights and Dragons and the other boy was currently a dragon but I guess pretend isn't allowed anymore.
