Morning... er Good afternoon.
There's a chill in the air! *pleased because its actually leaving summer temps in Texas!*
Uh what are those kobolds doing to that recliner? Is that a booty trap? (Bonus points if you get the ref)

78 and windy. I did finally give in and do some of the yardwork before the freeze rolls in over the weekend.
High windy and tall Oak trees make for some painful acorn hits. >_<
Triple points for not going there....

Freebie on LOTRO side is a Rejuv potion.
Dunno who came up with the coupon code for it, but...
FEELFRESH probably wasn't the best choice.

*and so drifting through the mists like the wraith it feels it has become a haunting spirit drifts into the tavern.....*
And that about best sums me up at the moment. I'm very sorry for the absence but life has not been good and I have been "away" and very much out of touch with the wider world unless you are linked to my skype on my phone. I think if I said I am now single is probably the best way of making an incredibly long and painful last several months.. no years be summed up into an easy to say matter of fact statement.
Nuff said.
I did receive an email alert from the lotro side (Thank you so much for the thought to pm me, you will have no idea how much of a pleasant surprise that was to see with all that has occurred!) but had no idea how to access anything as i have forgotten all my passwords due to the absence of computer access which I had to purge of all links the day I left. This... This is my old pre forum purge account and was the only login details I could find buried in a note book I was able to retrieve, and of course my timing couldn't be worse with recent events that have just occurred :/
To sum up, I am fine and have emerged from the very dark place which I think is best summed up by Rachel Plattens Fight song.
As to us down here again ... yeah getting woken at 2.30am with Tsunami sirens ordering immediate evacuation was not high on my wanting to do again list. To be honest I very nearly grabbed a bottle of Vodka and sat on the beach to watch the doom as I am now living 250m from the beach right on the Ashley river mouth in a town called Waikuku Beach. The only thing that stopped me was knowing I have not updated my will and those who don't deserve anything would get everything. So yeah I choose to live for all the wrong reasons, lol.
That was one beauty earthquake though, left all the others as nothing more than jiggles as it went on for at least 40 seconds and got stronger as it went on - I loved it
Once I was happy the house wasn't gonna fall down (I'm in an apartment under another house!) I went back to bed as it was a midnight shake. It wasn't' for another 2.5 hours that the alarms went off as a 2m Tsunami hit further north of us. Fun times
I've taken to weekend riding again and it's been really great. I've got my eyes set on getting a Gypsy Vanner as I just adore that breed and have an amazing riding teacher whose the wife of my best friend. Funny might wanna google epona downs in okuku as she'd probably find the saddles she sells interesting. She's offered grazing and to look after the horse cheaply while I get back on my feet again so once the last messy life things are resolved I'll be able to finally after 40 odd years own my own horse. Small goals but goals are needed
I hope all has been well for everyone else and will endeavour to drop by more now I have found how to again
Somedays your the Bug
Somedays your the Windscreen.

OMG! Caltrops on the porcelain throne! No I refuse to look.
I was visualizing more old school like a rope snare trap that would turn you in to the pinata or a stick trigger that when pulled would pelt you with kobold nest trash from above or anything similar to the old pirate traps in... well in Goonies, which is what made me quote from the movie. *winks theatrically at the kobolds* I hope I'm not giving them any ideas. ;P

Nice to meet you Iss. I'm fairly new to this pub. But I like the company.

We're okay with the old Iss, but a PM to Cordo can probably get ya your 'ghost creds if you prefer that one.
Curious thing about that quake. My ex in Auckland says she hasn't felt anything from this round. Amazing given the amount of damages I'm seeing posted across the web.
Oh, and yes, I'm Google Mapping "Waikuku Beach" ...
Sorry to hear about that the last few months have been so cruddy. Glad to finally hear from you here. Will keep you in my prayers.
Riding is a very worthy endeavor to give hope. Glad to hear you've taken it up again. Gypsy Vanners are awesome horses. I've had the pleasure of riding a friend's a few times and I loved it. They are also very easy on the eyes. Do post a picture if you can once you find your horse.
I looked up Epona Downs...I wish I could go take lessons there. hehe. Sounds like a great place to hang out and also a good person to learn from. I'm intrigued by the WOW saddles... I will have to remember them in case I end up needing a new one.
Speaking of horses...I lost Cocoa in August. On Tuesday it will be three months since his passing. We were together almost 20 years. He was an awesome partner and I will sorely miss him for the rest of my life. I am however finally getting more interested in spending time with horses again. A friend of mine has a horse that she would like me to come out and mess with once a week if I can. I'm not ready for a new horse quite yet but I know it will be inevitable and sooner than I figured. I can't live without them. They are too much a part of me.
I wish you well with your horsing around and here's hoping you are able to get your own four legged companion soon.
