Yea I was at the end of a quest and then It said 8 Seconds until shutdown. I mean ***. I thought they would give some kind of a notice, unless it was something unexpected.

yup - I was in a quest..... and the notice appeared "8 seconds..." but my screen had already locked up..... bad Turbine! Bad doggy!

I was nearing the end of this Q and boom, 30 sec notice!

Well noticed today doing a raid where all the mobs where on equal footing with the red named end bosses and in fact all the champions where easily harder then the end boss but only in elites. Also noticed that some of the red named where spawning in epic quests at heroic levels. Maybe cause of this? Maybe cause they where fiddling for update 27 and broke the server instead? Or maybe just the classic: someone tripped over the power cord and pulled the plug out (altho these days its: oh a raid drive crapped it self and the assistant yanked it out forgetting to undo the safety screws or power connector).

Three units up on the right-most rack are two 5 port linksys switches. I believe the Linksys switch on the bottom is the one that runs the live DDO servers.
