    Default Confusion & Mass confusion

What is the DC of those SLA? How it's calculated? It does use Enchantment bonus as well?

Or it is 10+warlock leve + cha?

    These are Spell Like Abilities.

Confusion is considered level 3 Warlock Enchantment spell.
Mass Confusion is considered a level 6 Warlock Enchantment spell.

Ok, but how do you actually calculate the DC? Thanks

    10 + spell level + cha mod?

    i think

    from wiki:

    10 + Spell Level + cha mod + Items + Feats = DC

Yes. They are spell like abilities, which in almost all respects work just like spells except where you drag them to your hotbar from. The differences are basically in metamagics because, even though they are free for SLAs, the choices as to which ones metamagics will and won't work with is sometimes surprising. So now you know what spell levels they are, what the OP probably should be asking is 'can I heighten them?' E.g. Archmage's force SLA cannot be heightened. This is... atrociously unfun.

Problem is that it's not clear, as well for most new ability, they're missing the DC & how it's calculated.

As for heighten, that will matter only for confusion, mass confusion Varg said it's counted as a lvl 6 warlock spell, so it doesn't need it.

If you can't right click toggle, I would imagine no.

Heighten will work on a confusion. But heighten spell is very situation feat to a warlock. Since spell cap is 6, it won't go any higher than 6. Confusion is lv3 spell, once heightened, it would increase the DC by 3, but finger of death or circle of death would be + 1 DC only.

On any sort of DC caster, +1 DC can mean the difference between a mass hold or an instakill and a bunch of wasted spell points. Logic dictates that anything that gives a bonus to the DC you want to increase is the best way to go.

On a side note, the tier 5 tainted scholar +2 dc ability sort of irritates me. For 3 AP, bard spellsingers get +2 concentration/perform skills, +2 spell penetration, +2 enchantment DC's, and temporary spell points in an aoe around them when they sing songs. Tainted scholar uses the same 3 AP and only gets +2 to the dc of their choice, which doesn't include necromancy (the only real choices being evocation or enchantment if you're going tier 5 scholar, anyway).

Yeah, I would just replace heighten with completionist feat.

I feel your frustration. I think bards are exceptional. Every other class has to spend 2 AP for 1 DC. But warlocks get 2 DC for 3 AP.
