Default Same Account on 2 PC's

Finally got an install of DDO to work on my Laptop, so I can play wherever. The problem now is the screen layouts do not match.

My home set up is using a 2560x1600 30" screen with enough space to display as many hotbars as needed. The laptop is quite a bit smaller. Is there any way to set the both up for the same account, without having to adjust every time I play on one of the two?

    /ui layout load/save filename

    this might help. (hopefully)

just save the layout on each machine and load it when you start... *poof*

I use this, although last time I tried what the OP is wanting, it only affects the layout of your hotbars, map, chat etc., and doesn't remember how may hotbars are actually popped out, so I have to have the same numbers for it to work for me.

Weird, because for me it has always remembered the number of bars open.
That's the first thing I do when I TR/LR : /ui layout load <layout to load> to get back all the bars where they belong ( ok, the content of the bars is empty )

Basically you set up your layout on each computer, then once you have put the bars the way you want them ( and the rest of the ui ) you save it with /ui layout save <file>
do it on both computer and you're set.... well unless you're an altaholic... as you will have to do it for each alt. ( if they have a different setup, like number of bars open, bar location and so on )

    I run into this, too.
New alts - not only do I have to unlock the number of hotbars I use, but have to turn the specific #'d ones to vertical for the UI Load file to place them correctly.

Then double click the focus window for it to settle into place.

Then open the Options/UI list to Justify my buff icons to the right. (Where I still say they should have defaulted to instead of left.)

This one needs to be always reset... I agree default should be right ( original location ) and not left.
