Default Furyshot w/o Slayer arrows worth it? Or Tier 5 Mech on Bow/thrower?

As title--am considering tier 5 mechanic on a 13 rog/6 monk/1 fighter elf that will epic reincarnate into a ranged build (the Twilight Bow in my sig but with some feat changes). I plan to have quickdraw and shuriken expertise to use with 10K when manyshot is on cooldown to help generate fury charges and lay down some basic CC etc. No IC thrown.

The tier 5 mechanic looks tempting in that it will buff both weapons but I would not be able to go to the elven AA tree. So it is mechanic with 20 ranged power, +8 damage, 10% thrower speed, increased PBS range, 2d6 more sneak, improved traps and time bomb, wand and scroll mastery, fletching etc OR AA with imbues and slayer arrows.

I am ignoring doubleshot bonuses due to 10k/manyshot effects on it.

I like the idea of burst damage on a stealth build and do not want to gimp this one like I usually do lol!

    Thanks in advance!

You loose a ton of damage without slayer arrows. 250xcrit modifier damage x4(manyshot/10k) is really great, especially when you use the capstone, and chain multiple active shots.
But you can just respec and decide on your own for like 100k plat, and try both versions to decide for yourself.
The question is, if you want more trash killing capability, or more boss killing burst.
Dunno if it's worth investing 20 points in racial, then 20 or more in AA tree not to take the capstone.

You can do it, but it is not nearly as good.
Also Paralyzing Arrows. Really hard to afford both. Still you can respec according to content, and party you play with(/solo).

thx Who7oaa--maybe the choice would be shirardi with mechanic 5 on this build vs fury and slayer arrows? In which case I could do Shirardi until level 25; then swap to Fury and the bonus access to AA elf capstone

Yes, I can test it--just curious what peeps think who have run with these options.

    Default AA and throwing weapons?

I am using Furyshots with AA on my dex-based elven archer/thrower as mentioned above. I noticed that the primary imbues affect shurikens as well--so even the DC 18 paralysis is affecting EE mobs with the shurikens (they eventually fail their save due to the high attack rate). I have been really behind on AA builds and throwers combo (was a LONG time ago that I played a monkcher and I was new at game), so I have questions:

    1) The fact that primary imbues work on throwing weapons--is this WAI? Am not trying to use an exploit; the switching back and forth results in it.

    2) Any other tips and tricks for AA and shurikens? I find that the low level Shadow star seems to crit A LOT--I guess it is still bugged to have a 15-20 threat range (doubled)? I prefer it to my Cormyrian thrower when I need crits for stacking ninja sting & improved elemental debuffs (like improved destruction and lethargy)

    3) thrown attack speed and ranged attack speed have different modifiers--how important is blinding speed or is it easy to max out ranged attack speed? Right now I have WWrists, Quickdraw & rapid shot, use a crafted trinket with 10% alacrity and try to max my BAB with tenser scrolls. Is it possible to dump quickdraw eventually? Am feat starved

    4) current twists are Wwrists, Pin and Enlightenment; I run in water for +2 ki regen plus slinking for another +1. I swapped WW for Echoes Shirardi and I had a noticeable slowdown

    5) arrows of slaying and throwers? I can test this--curious if it works and if so, if on all stars in a volley. That could make a 10K + fury + slayer shurishot very nice since in general I get more shurikens firing than arrows outside manyshot.

Other than that I am trying to max out my dex and wisdom which are lowish right now at level 22.
