Thanks for all your help. Oddly I figured it out based on the fact that everyone kept saying run the standard .exe files as admin. Well out of frustration, I started running every obscure exe file in the Turbine folder as admin, and I noticed the AwesomiumProcess.exe failed to run and kicked back an error message (progress!) regarding DX input. I ran dxdiag shortly after to recheck (already did this) that DX was running fine, but I had a thought... what if Turbine doesn't exclusively utilize DX11 APIs. If they used an outdated one, like DX9 (the original option for the game). I quickly Googled the download for this file, and popped it in my System32 directory and viola, the game ran.

What's crazy is that this issue comes up a few times in the Goggle search, including one youtube video showing the exact same issue over the last few years, and no one seemed to have come up with a solution. Made me think this was never going to get resolved without a complete format (which probably wouldn't have fixed it considering I would just install a DX11 runtime). This has to go down as the most complicated S/W fix I've had to work on in recent memory... and for a game I play in my downtime at that.

    **RANT ON**

If there are any Turbine S/W developers viewing this forum, I would have the Turbine launcher search for missing files such as this, and download as needed. It did so for DAT files, .Net framework, and I believe the C++ redistributable files. Why not a DX9 API the game is reliant on?

    **END RANT**

Anyways, I'm just glad it's working.

    Nice job!
