I have a dog who won't eat his dog food normally. He has to first line up all of his toys on the left side of his bowl. Then he proceeds to take out pieces of dog food and line them up one by one on the right side of his bowl. He then goes down the line of food, eating each piece individually. When he finishes with that line, he gets another bite of food and lines up the pieces again. He has done this since he was a puppy.

I also had a lizard who was scared of bugs that jumped. He wouldn't chase them around the tank, but would instead run to the other side and try to hide.

Awesome. My brothers huskie can open can food. He chews around the edges and then pops the top somehow and procedes to eat until the can is sparkly clean. They have to put it up high now cause he figured out how to open the bottom cabinet doors. Oh he'll take pot roasts off the counter too. Bad dog.

Is he only eating certain pieces? So he has a bowl full of the same kind?

Yeah, my dog used to wrestle with the container that held his treats. It had a screw on lid, so he would jump on top of it and roll around until it became loose and then pop the top off with his nose. It was so amusing to watch that I found I could never deny him a treat. He is older now though and can't be bothered, so he just stares at me with big, sad eyes until I give in. Very high charisma score with excellent diplomacy skills.

Does my 2y/o niece count? She likes me to make things go BOOM!, squees at dragons, says "ow ow ow!" when running through traps, doesn't like the mean spiders & insists on making me jump up & down in the harbour because it's like splashing in one really big puddle.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

Yes, the bowl is full of the exact same food. He just takes a mouthful, spits them out, lines them up and then goes down the line one by one. It takes him ages to eat a bowl of food. It doesn't matter the brand, he has always done this.

wow an animal with OCD. If he starts turning lights on and off and twisting the doorknob a set number of times each day, you could probably get him on a talk show. ;P

My dog learned (after getting two frozen turkey necks, one each on consecutive days) that he would be getting these daily. So, now he will go hungry most of the day until it's time for a turkey neck and only eats dry dog food to top off after eating the turkey. He also knows what time this happens (6pm). He can tell the difference between street corners and driveways, and will stop at street corners (but not at driveways). He knows squirrels can also be called "tree rats" and goes on high alert if you say either "Where's the squirrel?" or "Where's the tree rat?". And he prefers Pupperoni to all other treats and likes Beggin Strips the least. Oh, and he won't chew rawhides that weren't in the bag when given to him, unless there are no rawhides left in the bag; only then will he chew "pre-mouthed" rawhides (even though he's the one who "pre-mouthed" them).

Its been almost 7yrs but I once had a cat that would wake me up in the morning by climbing onto my belly or side very softly then smacking me very hard in the face with the end of her tail like a whip. How she lived to be 17yrs old is beyond me, because every morning I would swear anew that her days were numbered. I just know she was laughing at me from wherever she hid till her breakfast was ready.

I often play with my husband's bearded dragon chilling out on my shoulder or my chest. She likes to soak up my heat and veg out while I play video games, and it amuses me to have my little dragon mascot while I'm playing ddo.

And the cat likes to jump on the keyboard without warming usually just in time to get me killed when I shoot off a boat in chrono or something. LOL

Bwahahahaha, sucker*! Hahahahha, you are a slave to your pets*! Man, how pathetic*... I'd never let a pet dictate that kind of thing to me*! You are some kind of sorry human being*! How do you live with yourself*?

    * He says as his two cats pester him to provide more soft food regardless of the amount of kibble they have available... Yes, kitties, more soft food is on the way.
