How do you feel about PDK with a +1 lesser heart. Charisma based with a Bastard Sword?

I just started testing PDK with a +1 heart to full Warlock. Charisma Bastard swords.

IT IS AMAZING. The 3d6 Light Damage scales with Spellpower and ALSO procs fully on glancing blows. Thank you for this.

Know the angles is from Harper, it is the INT version of Divine Might from Warpriest/Knight of the Chalice. Essentially gives your INT bonus to damage + 1/2 INT bonus to tactical feat DC.

In his build he is getting an incredibly small portion of his damage from Pact. The rest is no-save. Charisma would do almost nothing for him except give bonus spellpoints.

PdK looks good on paper for the charisma to attack and damage, but that locks you into longswords/bastard swords/shortswords/Greatswords. An inferior choice to the thunderforged Khopesh.

You are absolutely correct. However, after testing warlocks a bit more, it turns out that the 3d6 light damage is awesome. See above.

As such, our DPS comparison is

Bastard Sword vs Khopesh
5d10 vs 5d8 (~5% in favor of Bastard Sword)
17-20/x2 vs 17-20x3 (17% in favor of Khopesh)
20% damage glancing blows with 30-50 light damage bonus (10-20% in favor of Bastard Sword)

Additionally, this frees up some otherwise wasted points in harper, which I am veryr happy with.

I think you mean Perfect Two Weapon fighting: PSWF allows you to vorpal on 19. PTWF Gives 10% off-hand and 5% main hand DS

Why does PTWF even work if you're not wielding two weapons?
