I grew up watching Hammer films, and have watched Christopher Lee for decades. He's a true great of film.

Got to pass on my condolences. Massive loss to the acting world. I know he got typecast for playing villans but who wouldn't have preferred him doing voiceover for ToEE?

Fun fact, he voiced Death in the animated Discworld adaptations.. though in the credits is entered as "Death, played by Himself"

He played in so many movies/etc. that I have enjoyed over my life.
I gave up a life of farming to become an Adventurer.

He was one of the elder actors that brought gravitas to the recent spate of films like LoTR and the Star Wars prequels. He was a mega buff of the Tolkien books too, saying once in an interview that he reread them every year. Felt a kindred spirit there.
