    Smile Returing player UI scaling

Last time I played DDO with any vigor, was a few years ago, back then I had 1280x1024 monitors, things changed and now I used 2x24in-1920x1080. With the leser resolutions the icons and chats font sizes and everything just looked bigger and readable. With this new setup, I have the chat font size set to 20 and its still like I am reading a size 10 font on a 1280x1024 monitor. The really bad part is icons are so **** small its like playing whack-a-mole with a teaspoon (the mouse pointer is almost larger than one hotbar icon), I can only pray I am pressing the correct ability/skill/spell I need.

I am not against a custom UI but there is no way I can do that myself. what is really needed for me is a way to scale up the whole UI. I find it hard to believe that the devs can create such a great and complex and leave out something so simple as UI Scaling slider or incremental adjustment buttons.

Come on, its 2015, directx 15 will be here soon.

They made one for LotRO. It looks pretty nice.

There is no way to scale up the UI in DDO. The game engine was pretty grim in 2006 let alone 2015. The only thing you can do is play on a lower resolution or on a bigger monitor. I play in 4K and the icons are so tiny its very tough to tell what they are.

I guess there's no way to implement the LotRO UI in DDO. Which is a shame because the DDO is woeful and has been since launch.
