I don't care about cosmetics anymore.
There's just so few people to play with, no one will see my fluorescent he-man super fullplate.
Same goes for cosmetic pets. I have a stable of 15 but I haven't summoned one in months.

I probably stand alone on this, but I would like cosmetic kits the make my toon look like a dryad, erinyes. and succubus.![]()
Second this, especially lootgen orbs. While we're at it, I'd love to see a couple more eternal wands at epic levels. I have Epic Winters Wrath, Cacophonic Verge, Brimstone Verge, and Roderics, and all can be useful when I'm low on sp, and not game breaking. Not enough damage to make you choose them over spells, but just enough to cycle in every now and then and save some sp if you're patient.
I'd like to see a much greater selection of colours and designs in general, much simpler designs, less fancy bits with spikes or huge shoulder pads, loose the sashes too. Be nice to see some more normal looking things, things you'd actually be seen dead in, in real life lol.
No offense to the artists, but sometimes I look at them and think... 'good lord who designs this rubbish' Some of the looks are chronic.
Also some games have the ability to change the colour of an outfit to any colour you like. Some simply through changing colour codes, some through dying them, some through buying colour pallettes and you can alter them as you see fit.
It would be especially lovely to see some Santa hats or perhaps even a Mrs Claus outfit haha, christmas elf hats etc.. I'd be all over buying some of those!

I couldn't care less about cosmetics I have to pay for..
HOWEVER:
1.I think ALL the armor in the game needs a major upgrade because basically every armor looks like a full-body-leggings strapped over the model of the characters.. This looks especially ridiculous on characters that wear medium or heavy armor.. Especially those need to look bulkier. It's not enough to add some minor elements to the arms and / or legs, the whole armor needs to have a slightly different and larger shape than the character model. If you know what I mean..
2. I would really love it if the cloaks were finally visible on the character.. How can you wear a cloak and not see it? I never understood, why cloaks were not visible in DDO.. But please, don't make that a cosmetic upgrade. I can't be arsed to pay for something as basic as that ... You could introduce a visible basic model with the color of the icon (mostly red or dark blue/black, sometimes green). If you wanna generate money with cosmetic upgrades, you can always make variations in shape, size and color available via the DDO store.

Robes for spellcasters that don't look so heavy and "quilty". Maybe short sleeves, and shorter hems for the females.
Bare-chested robes and outfits for males -- you know, the "barbarian" look.
Got complaints about the in-game hirelings?
That's nothing compared to what they say about YOU

^This. I have an old armor kit on a suit of dragontouched armor that I'm never going to use again, but I LOVE the look of the armor kit. Sadly, it was left out of the update to cosmetics fitting into slots...
I would gladly spend TP to buy an updated version of that armor kit that fits into the cosmetic slot. You already have the artwork and have already worked out the process of changing the old kits into the new slottable cosmetics (You must have since some of the old kits actually were recreated into the new type of cosmetics). So, it bewilders me why all the old armor kits haven't been updated to the new cosmetic system already.
I totally want the top hat and tails the eryines wears in the amaranth series of quests
!!!!!
the monk handwraps, i would like to see an effect glowing from them like hands on fire or covered in a shadow cloud for thunder-forged wraps. sometime like that would be cool and ACTUALLY get me to buy a cosmetic if it was sold in store. i would love to have my hands of fire while fighting.
KREYLIA - if you think it sucks, then you prolly suck too. if you think its great, then your prolly great too.
