I'm probably the lone voice here, but I actually like the "sexy" type armors...and yes I'm a real life female. I am playing a fantasy game...for me, the whole Boris Vallejo, Barbarrella type costuming dominated my childhood....and it doesn't bother me to see it in games. I am REALLY tired of every piece of heavy armor having the shoulder pads from hell and PLEASE leave the hip pads off the sides!

Other people made some great suggestions that I would like to reiterate as a show of support:

    1) Shadar-Kai deserve more hairstyles. They only have *4* available!

    2) People either love or hate sexy armor for women. I'd suggest putting in "sexy-armor" as *cosmetics only*, but not in-game as base appearances.

    3) Druid-safe medium and heavy armor in randgen, or possibly added to Cannith crafting.

    4) Steampunk look.

I know you mentioned that changing colors is problematic for some reason.

I guess it's hard to ensure proper colorization, but perhaps it would be possible to add some quick hack experimental colorization. Add some sliders for R/G/B or color picker and modify all armor colors by the same amount. Or some invert colors slider.

The armors should be made of parts of earch armor in game
    Shoulders.
    Chest.
    legs
    boots.
Each should be a free choice of one. (i.e)The top of such armor. the shoulders of the one cannith armor...the bottom of another.etc..
Dyes for armors like the hair dyes.
Choosing if you want a spiked armor look etc... not only dyes to choose color, a style of our choosing armor would be great, if you want a spiked one, a skull one, or you could choose to have spikes only in the shoulder, etc...

White armors. Really white. Matching shield and helm would be great.
Also, I like the "faith" line armors.
I would like to have the Cellimas Villuhne's shield.
    I don't care...

First armor that comes to mind would be a shadowscale version of the gh medium dragonscale armor. Could also have a green one or whatever other color, but that's the armor I like the most. Also the Spider and purple dragon cosmetic armor that was released with MotU was really cool.

New armor I'd like would be soemthing, that uses both cloth and armor. Something like chainmail or a light dragonscale armor that fits traveling.

I really like the shape of the Helm of Frost and the Tradusor (even tho there is a PDK nose that's too long for it). For Helms, there should be either one armor set that it fits really well or it should be neutral and fit to most armor.

When it comes to weapons I think most axes and hammers could use a version with a spike on one side.
Would be nice to have some better looking khopeshes. The alchemical ones look good and the elemental khopesh of water from the cannith challenges is also ok. The problem with most khopeshes in DDO is that they have too much mass close to the grip and they have a tip. That's not what a khopesh is supposed to be like. It shouldn't get thinner towards the end.
Also orcrist (the sword that thorin gets in the hobbit movie) looks cool.

In general I prefer stuff, that looks more or less realistic.
Also adapting stuff from movies and TV-series would be nice, especially hair styles.

Apart from that shields and options for druid forms would be cool.

For shields a "viking" shield would be nice and a towershield version of teh dethek runestone (something that fits a dwarven defender).

Druids could use different colors and also some cat shapes would be awesome. Not sure if anyone else knows them, but I really liked the "shadow beasts" from the gothic games (basically something between a bear and a wolf with a horn like a rhino). That way there would be options for bear and wolf form.

Btw have you thought about opening this to the community? I've heard people can make their own skins for Dota2 and in csgo.

Remove the ridiculously massive shoulder pads on most armors. They look awful.

As it always seems to be one massive pad on one arm, and none of the other.

    WHY
Lotro has them, aren't they on basically the same architecture?

Also, I second the idea of non-monk specific outfit looks.. how bout some more swashbuckler-y type outfits?

    or another adventurer archetype...

Weapons-wise, I would love to have spears, flails, double weapons (double sword, double axe, double scimitar), and greatbows added. I would also like some thinner-looking greatswords, just because you use can use both hands does not make it a zwiehander, so please no more spikes. Asian-themed blades would also be awesome.

Armor-wise, I just want practical-looking armor. It's supposed to be designed for defense and ease of movement, so NO GIANT SHOULDER PADS!!! Also, more hide armor for Druids. Samurai armor would be amazing. (Paladin with a Two-handed Katana with Samurai-scale armor and a Samurai helmet would be worth almost any price.)

Helmet-wise, I ask for practical-looking helmets, protective gear, not a fashion statement.

Druids could be the source for your samurai armor. Most of that was generally a wooden splintmail breastplate meant to stop arrows, after all. (Turns out, Samurai were decent swordsmen, but not master swordsmen. They were master /archers/. Why? Because unlike European knights, they fought intelligently, not 'honorably'. Get in reach of your opponent, where they can hit back? No. Just shoot them.

Samurai were Indiana Jones when the guy starts twirling his scimitars. BANG!

Then, the days of their warfare ended, and they became government officials. They put their katanas in their offices as a reminders of who you were talking to (and in case you tried to assassinate them), and launched a propaganda campaign about their incredible swordsmanship, to both boost their prestige, and reduce the odds of anyone being interested in trying to kill them when they had that sword on hand.

    Historical trivia over.

More barbarian looking gear please. More fur!.
    No more flat "skin-tight" armors.
Some NPCs have quivers. Can we have visible quivers?

Please take some inspiration from Steve Prescott.

This cosmetic is great (it's a unique look only on elocator's habiliment), should be used elsewhere in the game (would like it to be more symetrical though) OH and by the way, Elocator's in different colors would be cool too!

Whole-heartedly. Whoever designed that armor needs some major kudos, because they did a great job. I'd also glammer that in a second if I could.

    This would also be epic.

My main runs with a cosmetic version of Plate Armor of the Deep. I think it's one of the Knightliest armors I've been able to get my grubby mitts on. I'd love to see a deep red version of that or make the whole thing golden. My personal preference would be to remove those belt-wings, but I'd still love either of them even if they kept them.

Oh, I love the sexy armors... on certain characters.

On my sunburned dwarf barb, though, my retinas really don't need to be looking at that all the time! lol

My FvS, on the other hand, loves her Leaves of the Forest (...again, not a good look on a sunburned dorf...) other than that silly little half-skirt but my bard doesn't really want to be a sex symbol - it's hard enough getting companions to take you seriously when you're lugging around a lute!

But yes. Ix-nay on the shoulder and hip pads.

Cosmetics have kept me playing this game for over half a decade, so thank you for asking this question.

My first thought that I'd spend points on would be nature type helms, i.e.:

    bear helm
    wolf helm
    bird helm
plant helm (which is why I was delighted to see the mushroom cap)
    stag helm
