Default My post formatting is disappearing.

For the last few days I have noticed that my post formatting is being stripped when I post in the threads. For example there should be a blank line right above and below this line. Also the "edit Post' button has stopped working for me. When I click it the just sits their with the spinning icon but never actually allows me to edit it.

That's always happened to me, and specifically if I use Internet Explorer. I don't even get the nice little toolbars for the edit box. I'll take a screenie of this as I type. I have checked it on a default install of Win7 + IE 11 (a machine for testing such things) and it's the same. They won't fix it. They spend their money on making new content for all the zerg kiddies that play the game to keep them happy. It's clearly obvious because they'd probably would have fixed the god horrible game UI by now; which was fine back in 2006 on smaller desktops but in 2015 it's virtually unbearable. No doubt someone will say, "Use FireFox, or Chrome, or Safari" etc .. yeah, I generally use FF for DDO because of the problem, but the responsibility of whoever manages the forums is to make it work on ALL modern browsers.

Just to make it weirder, below the reply section is topic review section and it appears your text is formatted as expected.

Ype, I have mentioned this before.

Turbine is using vBulliten 4.2.0. There was a patch to this to fix the edit button and some other IE issues, however there is also a newer 5.0 version that would work better.

All sites have to keep up, and always using the most current version is better. Though I understand with the low size of their teams why it might not be easy.
