Have you guys lost it? Extended downtime is never acceptable in the IT world! This is absolutely atrocious network engineering! A troop of trained monkeys could have done the systems analysis for this network! The First Commandment of Networking: Though Shalt Have Redundancy and 99.9% up time!

Um.... Honestly, it is fine to be frustrated. It is fine to be upset. Big problem is having expectations that cannot be lived up to. I have NEVER heard of an organization that has servers up 99.9% of the time. This game and turbine keep it up about 95%. They are in the REALLY high margins for games. Also, I personally don't like bot players, this game is the only one that is almost bot free. Keep all that in mind.

I don't mind that things are over-schedule.
I don't know IT so i don't know or really care if this is normal. I can deal just fine.

It's just that I'm coming back from yet another break from the game and spent far, far to0 long today trying to figure out if there is something wrong with my account or my install or was it that I'm simply in-line and the update servers are backed up?
All simply for the lack of someone updating the announcement until just now... what? 4 hours after the fact.

I suppose the assumption is everyone is on twatter or faceblarg. But i don't do those abominations.

Good to know its just a SNAFU on their end.

Oh well, I'll just take a break and come back later, no biggie.
