Golly gee, everyone.

This was a TURBINE WIDE system down day.

No Infinite Crisis.
No Lord of the Rings.
No DDO.

Turbine is doing something with the pay system and using STEAM for Infinite Crisis. Also, something about the Russian servers stopping on May 31, 2015, and the Russian players that want to continue playing have until that date to submit a ticket for LoTRO.

Further evidence that no one ever reads my posts, like the one I posted on page 1 of this thread about this downtime today.

Devs must be able to work their maintenance in better. Smaller patches, more frequently from 3am-7am, something like that. Also, whoever predicts the amount of downtime needs to be fired. Always hours off, c'mon man, at least use the old under-commit over-deliver trick. You know if you think it is going to take 3hrs tell us 9 so when we check and it is finally up after 7 hrs, we can say, "man, good job." Also people wouldn't start posting and complaining if they weren't told a time and 3hrs + later, they are still trying to play.

Instead of complaining....do something constructive that doesn't involve the computer. Sure, its fun, but it isn't everything. everything will still be here when the login authentications will be fixed. and as for those gimmies...... get over it. you evidently can afford to whine, so dont hound the poor folks at Turbine for doing their Jobs. they are trying to do customer service the best way they know how. yes, there are times when time is imperative.....but is this really one of them? My Gods, its freaking summer, or near to it. there is an entire world out there that can be seen. Free to Play isnt any less important that those that pay, and I think a Majority of People will agree with me. Let them fix whats needed and be done with yer whining

These are different login scripts. It looks like they are working on login scripts. Apparently, they may be looking at the turbine interface with the game server. IMO

Actually, been noticing encryption issues in game with the store so does not surprise me that they are looking at their code.... Web server security 101 dictates that these scripts be isolated. So, the fact that myaccount is up does not mean that the game server login will be up. IMO

Of course they mean noon, right? Cause I haven't been able to log in yet... and they chose to use the am/pm system on the only hour that creates confusion... noon is 12am o 12pm? There is no official consensus, use the 24h day system people... also the metric system, always. BE SMART PEOPLE!

See this is what happens when people get paid by the hour. I say for every hour they go over estimated time they should be docked pay. That would insure either they estimate downtime better or and here's a novel idea. It gets done in a timely manner. LOL, of course I am just joking, have lots of respect for the Dev's and all they do.
