    Default Celestia Still Bugged?

I was thinking of playing swashbuckler and I was wondering:

    1. Does anyone know if Celestia's DR bypassing abilities still go away when you add other damage types to it?

    2. If it does, then does the Warpriest Righteous Weapons ("When wielding your religion's favored weapon, it gains an additional +1 to its Enhancement Bonus.") and Harper Enchantment ("Your weapon gains an additional +1 to its Enhancement bonus. You gain +20 to your maximum Spell Points.") do that?

    Thank you for replies

Answer to question 1 is yes, I believe it is still bugged.
    Question 2, I don't know.

With that being said, Celestia is still my go to weapon against most mobs on my swash....even over tier 2 TF rapier. The blinding effect procs very frequently and boosts my survivabilty tremendously. DPS is still behind TF, but it sure makes your fights much more manageable when all of the mobs are blind.

I switch to TF rapier for bosses.

    Yes.... still bugged.

I know for sure that it disappears on my Icy bard. Whether it's Iced Edges or the Enhancement bonus, I haven't checked.

    1. Yes

    2. No - its type is short sword.

    2. Yes - the harper enchantment breaks its DR abilities, tested.

That's too bad, still might be worth it though. Yeah, that's what I was thinking, especially since I don't have the phlogs to make a T2+ TF weapon so I was doing Celestia vs T1 haha.

I know it's typed as a short sword, I meant the bug that makes the fact it bypasses all DR by doing light damage go away, seems like the bug is still around though.

That's too bad...can probably assume the fav. wep. and swash increase to enhancement bonus do the same. Sounds like it still might be worth using, as opposed to a Tier 1 TF Shortsword though. Thanks for the reply

Celestia does still have some fun swash interactions due to it being a shortsword that acts like a bastard sword. Even with its dr piercing broken, it still gives off glancing blows. Since glancing blow cannot crit, they will always trigger Expose weakness's crit range increase (unfortunately, they also break guardbreaking procs). That being said, I still think Balizarde is the best swash weapon until T3 thunderforged.

Hmm...never thought of that, might have to see about getting those glancing blows. The only way to get that is B-Sword Prof, right?

Yeah, Balizarde looks nice too but I don't have it haha. Also using some FvS Righteous Weapon stuff with shortsword on a drow because I'm aiming for a FvS PL

You do need bastard sword proficiency to get glancing blows with celestia. Also last time I played a bard the swashbuckling stance was changing Celestia's damage type from light to magic.
